made reservations and their system failed to send verification without which I made reservations elsewhere. My credit card was debited and they send a cheesy letter about being a "small" company, and they knew I would understand, etc.
Attempts to remedy the matter were dismissed, subsequent letters were from staff representing 3 other motels in the Hilton chain Counter offers were refused, and I would haVE never BOOKED A ROOM AT THIS PLACE FOR THE $179.00 CHARGE...Turns out the "humble" letter 1 was betrayed by the more "corporate" letter 2.
Credit card letter of dispute given their system failure (room was booked 8 weeks out)
is where the matter is now, which will be followed with small claims.
Customer service ? I think not.
