Well, the rooms are very clean, but the price for the room did not include any breakfast or parking. Parking was an extra $40 per day, and breakfast cost another $30. I will not book this hotel again.

We did an international phone call from this hotel and when we were leaving we ask for the bill of the phone call, they didn't know and specify the tariffs of the phone calls and the minuts i spend, but they charge me 146 dollars!!! The reception lady didn't matter and they didn't let me talk with the manager, i spend two hours trying to know the phone tariffs and it was impossible. The workers were inefficients so i recommend you to not stay in this hotel.

Everything was quite enjoyable. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with nice towels and organic soaps, the bed was clean, firm yet soft and large, great views of the neighborhood, free DVD rentals, 2 blocks away from the Chinatown gate, easy access to city transport, valet ($40 plus tax for 24 parking, unlimited in and out service) the retrieval for your car is about 15 min. Front lobby is beautiful. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Request a room with a Bush street view otherwise you will see the back of the buildings. 20 min walk to Market street. Nice mini bar. If you want good pizza, order from Marina Pizza and caffe. 25 min delivery(free) , excellent pizza, hot wings, salad, pie, cheese toast, etc. 6 restaurants 2 blocks to 3 blocks, some mid class, some upper. Very quiet rooms, best sleep I ever had in a hotel. We asked for the top level (10). Free laptop w/internet access in the front lobby in case you forgot yours at home If they are sold out, they will get you into a sister hotel! Do not look anywhere else if you want to stay in this neighborhood, this hotel will take care of you!!

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

The hotel is in a great location, the price was fabulous for the hotel and we couldn't have been happier with the staff. The soft robes were a nice touch too.

This small, new hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are spatious, very clean [and kept that way], quiet, and have all the amenities. The robes are fabulous! We will definitely stay there on our next visit.

The hotel was in a great location, convenient for almost everything. I travelled alone, and there were plenty places to eat round about ranging from sandwich shops to French bistros. The room was very nice, especially the bathroom. It was great to come home from a hard day sightseeing and be enfolded in the quiet, luxurious atmosphere. There was plenty choice and nice,quick replenishment at breakfast. There wasn't anything I disliked, but reception staff could have been friendlier.

I found this hotel on the internet and it couldn't have been more perfect! The prices were reasonable, the staff friendly and accomodating, the rooms comfortable and the location convenient. Only steps away from the cable cars, very close to China Town and a few blocks away from shopping I couldn't have asked for more. In all of my future visits to San Francisco I will ONLY stay at The Orchard Hotel.
