Holiday Inn Htl Stes Owatonna, Owatonna

We were here last weekend, we had trouble with ths outlets, the internet didn't work unless you had a special card. There was two wasp's in our room, the ice marker didn't work. The game room was expenisve, and the kids very seldom got anything. Plus the waterpark wasn't that great, unless you had friends with you. You could get hurt there. There is no way we would go back, oh , yes the bathroom was clean but the placement of things , like the light switch and the towels. Way overrated for what you get.

This place was really a joke for a 150 dollars a night for a 2 bed room. There was outlets that didnt work the claim of a water park consists of a pool with 2 slides maybe it was 3 i do not remember. I was so dang glad to get home and out of that place its unreal. The service was fine but if you walk out into the hallways You needed a water bottle to walk ten feet my son and I went down to the "arcade" and neither one of us could stand being in there for more than ten minutes it was so dang hot. The walls are thin and we was on the second floor and the room above us made noise all night every single footstep sounded like thunder. The door our room to the outside was by the key cards didnt work most of the time so people had to prop the door open just to get back in again and maintenence seemed well lets just say irratated when you mentioned something did not work. Trust me people it is NOT worth the money go to any hotel anywhere else and stay out of this one we would have if they was not all full yesterday.

well you gugys need to add a fames prison to vist and then put flires up around town and owatonna let that fames prose sing to all of us but one lucky kid who has a coise or reltfe cane see that fames prose in there room or at he place the sing hey have o give that kid free tickes to there conter and backstage pass and pay for frount row stea for them ok then hank you

Our stay was not very good. The hotel was under construction and when we made our reservations we were not told this. The elevator to our room did not work, we had to use one on the oppisit side of the hotel (with 3 small children) when we got to our room, it had no mirrors and some of the furniture was broken. The waterpark had 10 minute shut downs every 2 hours, so you had to get out of the water with your children and sit in a cold environment for 10-15 minutes before the "lifegaurds" allowed you to go back into the water.

We wanted to check in early to use the water park right away. The front desk girl got us in right away. When we arrived to our room I noticed that a light bulb was missing. I called down to the front desk and within ten minutes some one was there to fix it! Everyone was so nice to our kids and my husband during our weekend stay. This Holiday Inn is great and the location next to Cabela's was a huge benefit to our family!

After reading some of the reviews, my family and I were hesitate on making a trip to Holiday Inn Owatonna. However, we were pleasantly surpirsed. Our kids had a great time in the water park and the arcade while my husband and I enjoyed the restaurant onsite. It was affordable especially with the kids eat free program. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone, and will be returing as I hear a renovation is taking place.

My family and I (two children, ages 6 & 2) really enjoyed our two days/two nights here at the Owatonna Holiday Inn. The Waterpark is what brought us here and were were definitely satisfied. The bathrooms in the waterpark were clean and I witnessed one gentleman doing a thorough job the second day I was there working to clean the bathroom- it wasn't a walk-through job. The towels were always well stocked and the water was warm. We enjoyed the arcade (even winning two DVDs in the buck-a-chance machine that were family friendly that we watched them during our stay). Perhaps going Sunday-Tuesday during non-peak time made our stay better, who knows. We also came during their "Spring Break" hours, which kept the waterpark open 9am-9pm. We chose the location because it offered the best bang for your buck (2 restaurant vouchers for kids meals, $10 gift certificate ot Cabela's, up to five daily passes to the waterpark- for $132 a night). The room we stayed in was as described. It was cleaned and we received fresh bedding and towels during out stay. Around midnight, we had an issue with noisy neighbors and a call down to the front desk took care of the problem in 2 minutes. The restaurant isn't great, but the breakfast is good. The two vouchers for breakfast and dinner are nice compliments to the package deal. Cabela's is another nice attraction for families who enjoy wildlife. I am not a hunter, but enjoyed looking at the various trophy displays as well as the large fresh water fish aquarium. This is all free and also a nice attraction. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to take a vacation but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. THe price is definitely worth it and hope to return again.

Our room was dirty! There was hair in the shower and the carpets had food/crumbs all over! The restaurant service was terrible!!! We waited for almost 2 hours for our food and then it was cold and not cooked properly (raw hamburger). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Waterpark is nothing to brag about and the hallways and stairs were filthy dirty. Smelled like smoke in hallways, and elevators and ice machines did not work. We stayed in the kids suite, the walls in the room were dirty and need of painting. if you want a waterpark motel i suggest wisconsin dells, Kalahari Resort.

Our family planned on visiting the waterpark for a family get together. There were tweleve of us all together. We all live in the Twin Cities area, and didn't want to take the chance of driving there and not beable to get in, so we called a couple of hours before we left to make sure there wouldn't be a problem getting in. They assured us that it wasn't full and to come. When we got there they said they were booked with parties and they wouldn't let us in. We told them that we called and they assured us it would be okay to get in. They didn't care, they didn't apologize and they didn't offer us a discount for a future visit. We were totally unimpressed with their attitude and would never recommend going their to anyone. It sounds like from the previous reviews that it was a good thing we didn't pay a lot of money to get into the waterpark.
