Comfort Suites, Abilene

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and suites across the country and the Comfort Suites, an Abilene TX is by far one of the cleanest, friendly and accommodating hotels. The free breakfast has a huge variety and of choices. The place is spotless and clean. The lobby was well maintained. The rooms are spacious and with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Comfort Suites, has it all; best service, best breakfast, comfortable beds and most of all the hotel is clean. I enjoyed the Heated pool allot. Again, thanks Comfort Suites, an Abilene TX for making our stay enjoyable!!

I loved this place, huge rooms, clean and comfortable, located close to the hub of businesses in Abilene, staff was friendly. Price is very good for the quality of the place. Pool is great.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH CREDIT CARD-- THEY DOUBLE CHARGED US. WE GAVE ONE CREDIT CARD WHEN WE CHECKED IN. WE WERE TOLD IT WAS TO HOLD THE ROOMS. WHEN WE GOT READY TO CHECK OUT THEY ASKED US WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT WE WOULD LIKE TO USE. MY DAD WAS WITH US AND HE SAID THAT HE WOULD PAY, THEY CHARGED HIS CREDIT CARD. WHEN WE GOT HOME AND RECEIVED OUR BILL WE HAD ALSO BEEN CHARGED. MANAGER CHRISTINE REFUSED TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT SAYING THE ONLY PAYMENT SHE SHOWED WAS FOR MY DAD'S CREDIT CARD, WHEN I HAVE CONFIRMATION NUMBERS FOR CHARGES MADE TO MY CREDIT CARD. BE VERY CAREFUL .

First we were given a room that had not been cleaned. The second room had no towels. We went there mainly for the use of the pool which I had explained when I booked the room but only got to use the pool for a couple of hours before someone vomitted in it. We were then informed by the front desk clerk that she was the only one there and that no one would be able to clean the pool until the morning. But within the hour there were several people in the pool again and I went to the front desk and asked her if it had been cleaned and she said no, so I informed her there were people in it and she said she knows but that they didn't care it had vomit in it! The health department should really shut this place down.

Took my grandaughter there for just a one night stay to basically use the pool and hot tub. The pool is great. The water is heated and my grandaughter loved it. The room was nice and spacious as well. Wish it was a little cheaper and we would go more often.

I recently just stayed in this hotel with my family for graduation. I book it almost 9 months ahead of time. When we got there the reservation we had for 2 queens and 4 adults was not what they had in their computer. They had us down for 1 queen and 2 adults. WRONG! I never got an email or phone call saying this is no longer available would you like to switch to a king. We finally said whatever since it being all 3 college graduations and some other thing in Abilene, all the hotels were booked. When we went into the room it completely reaked of smoke. So their claim of 100% smoke free is absolutely the biggest lie. There was a cigarette burn on the bedspread. I had to go to all my events smelling like a cigarette butt. I also woke up in the morning sounding like I had smoked for years. It was the worst experience ever. Will not go back there again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Suites (Abilene, TX). I was sorry to hear this hotel received some negative ratings on "Trip-advisor". On "Yahoo-travel" it received some positive ratings. On the plus side I enjoyed the service, location, value, complimentary high speed Internet, breakfast, and decoration. Complimentary travel items were available if needed. I thought the small "green" room maintenance cards (if needed) were a great idea and one every good hotel should have. On the down side room and hotel could have been cleaner, sound proofing was not very good. Overall, above average rating!
