Cayo Espanto, San Pedro

Cayo Espanto is worth every penny. From the food (all organic, prepared on-site) to the green waters of the lagoon, this is the place to spend your honeymoon, birthday, or "regular" vacation. We stayed for five nights and cried when our boat left the dock. We will be back!

Cayo Espanto is truly one of the finest palces in the world. The service is unreal, the food fantastic and the lay out of the island is perfect. cayo espanto is perfect for anyone that wants the ultimate in relaxation and service. It feels like you are on your own 5 star island with out a care in the world. Everything, and I mean everything, is taken care of for you. If you are intersted in doing something other than relaxing in luxury all of the typical activities are available; scuba/snorkel, mayan ruins or trips to town. If you do venture off the island you will be greeted by your houseman bearing cold towels and your favorite drink upon your return. This place is not for everyone. It is very quiet and peaceful, not a big bustling resort. But if you are looking for the ultimate in relaxation and service in a stunning setting then this might be your place. ps it is really expensive but we thought worth every penny. We will be going back asap.
