Comfort Suites New Iberia, New Iberia

Rooms were very clean, service was great and the people working there were very nice and helpfull The beds were very plush breakfast was ok and the spa was not hot enough but i give it a 9 out of 10 I will go back!

I cover 6 states, plus I oversee other reps in various states and travel for a living. My travel agent booked this hotel for me. I have been on the road for several days, totally exhausted and got caught in a terrible rain storm on my way to this facility. I saw a Comfort sign, turned in, only to discover it was a Comfort Inn and not this Comfort Suites. It was another 15 or 20 minutes down the road. I called and attempted to cancel my reservation ...and was just going to collapse where I was... until I was told my credit card WOULD BE BILLED the FULL amount. There was NO empathy. NO compassion. I was VERY disappointed! Through my travels, things have happened and I have had to cancel or rearrange my schedule many times and everyone has always been so awesome and flexible. It was not the case with this hotel. There was NO manager on duty...no body with any authority I could speak with...nor would there be until the following morning. I was told I could take it up with them at that time. Upon my arrival, I requested a cable for the high speed internet...and they were out...(Sure did not look like the parking lot was very full...) I WAS able to connect wirelessly as my room was just off the lobby area. The spa was out of service as well. SERVICE is my number one requirement when choosing hotels. I will NOT ever attempt to stay in a Comfort Suites again...simply because of the lack of good service. All of our reps will be told to remove this chain as an option as well. There are too many fantastic choices out there...and life is too short.

Perfect location. Indoor pool is great year round for the kids. Best place to stay in the area and we visit several times a year and always stay here.

The manager was great and very helpful in booking rooms for our wedding. There was a variety of floor plans with lots of space and options to adjoin rooms for families with children staying from out of town.

Stayed there for two nights. Very clean rooms, friendly staff. I really like the smell when you first enter the room, that just won it over for me. Will always stay here when passing thru New Iberia.

This is the first and last time we stay in a Comfort Suites hotel. We found the three nights we stayed there were somewhat satisfactory, however, the room was very humid and sticky the whole time we were there. We even asked to be moved, but figured it wasn't worth the trouble - all rooms would be the same, so we told the lady at the desk that we would stay in the room. Also, I requested extra tissues and toilet paper during those three days, and was called on the telephone by the General Manager (Pam) who began questioning me as to why the need for extra items? I was appalled and will not stay in another Comfort Suites. I didn't feel the need to be quizzed, and felt it was uncalled for. (Are these items coming out of her salary?)

Travel to NI alot and this hotel is the best out of the chains there. Large and clean rooms, friendly staff, and the only one with an indoor pool a jacuzzi. Costs a tad bit more, but well worth it.
