Holiday Inn Express Hotel, Plano

I am pregnant and needed a place to stay while my husband attended an event. I chose this location because it looked nice online. The room we chose was non-smoking. The moment the door opened a strong smell of cigarette smoke overwhelmed us. However, the room did look nice. The bathroom was dirty and mold was building up around the edge of the bathtub. Even the walls were dirty in the bathroom. I wanted to enjoy a little time in the pool and it was disappointing as well. There are no covers for the chairs. They are metal so they are HOT and uncomfortable. The pool was filled with dead bugs and it didn't seem to make sense for me to stand out there and clean their pool. I wish I chose another location that was a little further away because then maybe I would have had a better experience. The breakfast was good at least.
