Country Inn & Suites Elgin is located at the intersection of I-90 and Randall Road, about 45 minutes east of downtown Chicago, and approximately 20 miles from Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The hotel is near the main business district, six miles from golf and skiing at Villa Olivia, and eight miles from Grand Victoria Casino. The Train Station is five miles from the hotel. Hotel amenities include indoor pool, whirlpool, exercise room, meeting space, free weekday newspapers, and a complimentary daily breakfast. Cookies, coffee, and fresh fruit are available in the lobby 24 hours. The hotel is adjacent to Jimmy's Charhouse Restaurant. Always a pleasant experience

We stay here at least 5 times a year, each time they improve and are more customer oriented. Appetiser nights, bigger breakfast selections, wine and beer tastings. The only negative is that rates have risen quite a bit in the last 2 years, otherwise Excellent!

Homey feel,friendly staff, close to great food at Jimmy's Charhouse. Nice buffet breakfast and great location. Enjoyed our stay! Would advise this place to anyone going to the area
 
 
 
 
 
I'll never return

The rooms themselves were nice, however the customer service was terrible. I was charged an extra $75. I had to pull teeth to speak with the general manager and she was extremly short and rude with me. She refused to give me any further contact information of how I might be able to get in touch with anyone else with the hotel and refused to refund my money. I will never return to a Country Inn and Suites again. FYI For anyone that's curious, it was the Country Inn and Suites in Elgin, IL
