Homewood Miami Airport Blue Lagoon, Miami

1st time in Miami and we enjoyed our stay here and the city. Would recommend to anyone! Staff was friendly and helpful. Timely with any requests....ex.- xtra pillows, towels, etc. Rooms were clean. Water stayed hot.

Location makes it great if your business stay keeps you near the Miami Airport. With convenient access to the Doral business area and Coral Gables it is a good value. If you need the dreaded 836 (Dolphin expressway) it's next door but I always recommend learning the streets. The only real walking distance food is the 94th AeroSquadron or Hilton Hotel. They both have lunch buffets. For dinner? Well the hotel itself has a great lil set up from 5 to 7. Nothing fancy but you can pretty much fill up right there otherwise, you best have a rent a car. The suites are bigger then the ones at the Hampton only a block away and the value beats anything the Hilton has up the road. The internet service is not wireless and sometimes gets slow. If you're a T.V. nut then this is the best hotel in the area for the number of channels you get however they still need to add the GOLF channel! Don't do your own laundry here unless you own a quarter machine. The $2.00 a load is expensive and very rarely are your clothes dry after even 2 cycles. The laundry is about the only thing that keeps it from being a good family place but still out does anything in the area regardless of class. If you do have an issue the staff is the best in the area and I've stayed at every hotel in the area over the past 6 years.

This hotel, if better managed, would be rated much higher. The property is located on a lagoon, with interesting marine life. Problem is guests litter the area off the deck and management does not clean it up. Also had problems with toilets backing up and A/C not working. Management addresssed it, but maybe with better Preventative Maint. none of these things would of happened. Suites are spacious and clean.

The Homewood Suites hotel was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helped us out. We stayed there before a cruise and right after the cruise. It's very near the airport. There was a shuttle to and from the airport. The pool was nice, right out by a lake. Stores were close by. The rooms were large. We had eight people sleeping in our hotel room.

The Homewood Suites was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. specially ( Linda, Sara and Jean). Gody Almonte and Alex Gonzalez were very accomodating. Maricela in the kitchen area help me in all throughout my stay. I will definetly return to this location.
