La Quinta Inn and Suites Vancouver, Vancouver

This hotel was absolutley wonderful! Staff was fantastic. Breakfast had a large selection and was great. Nice business center. Pool was nice and clean. Lobby was very nice. Hotel was very quiet, eventhough sold out. Rooms were fabulous and beds were SO comfy! STAY HERE!

This was very economical. The rooms are great. We also used the Executive Conference Room for a 3 day meeting. We were very pleased with the service and attention to detail. Location is outstanding.

recieved extra charges after we left the Inn and was treated very disrespectful when trying to contact Inn about charges. Items were left in the room and we contacted the Inn to have them mail it to us overnight and the items were not received for three days.

I loved the friendly staff including the Manager. They were friendly and they make you feel at home. I think that the most wonderful thing was the 100% non smoking policy. I have no pity for all the stinky smokers who overall are on denial, so for the last people who got charged I am 100% behind the manager for inforcing the rules and policies. Good for him. As for the people who got the charge stop your lies and get with the program if you broke the rules you gotta pay. Happy Guest

Front desk staff was very helpful, professional and efficient. Every staff member we met was friendly. Our room was impeccably clean, and the bed very comfortable. Nice breakfast too--cereal, fresh waffles, toast, muffins, eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee, teas, juices,etc, offered with great hours. I look forward to staying there again.

Very friendly staff made us feel truly welcome and cared for. Good breakfast, with good hours. The rooms were nice, quiet, and very clean, with super comfortable beds. We slept quite well. The rooms could use better lighting.

Everything was great up until the day we checked out. Called down for a late check-out (which was denied) only to learn that we were being assessed a $125 smoking fee, which was odd considering that we don't smoke. Called the manager, who was very rude who flat out lied to us. His story was that he was trying to slide the Express Check-out form under the door, but we had apparently put towels down (to block the smoke from our smoking I guess) and he couldn't slide the form under the door. Which is very weird since we had the Express Check-out form that had been slid under our door no problem, as we did not have towels under the door. Clearly this half wit (Peter Schimodle) was mistaken, but refused to budge, condescendingly repeating how disappointed he was in me for smoking in the room. Well, Petey, I'm disappointed in you for bald face lying just to gouge a little extra change from us. BEWARE! Avoid this place like the plague.

This hotel was easy to find and very close to the ampitheater where we were going for a concert. Right off the freeway, but never did hear any traffic. King bed was very comfy and room was nice. (The only problem with the room was the shower didn't drain well, filled up with water up to my ankles during shower.) Checking in was another matter...a desk clerk was talking on the phone to someone who was making a reservation and the GM was very rude.(Surely the customer on the phone could hear him.) Then when it was time to check us in, the desk clerk didn't give us her full attention and was trying to do 5 other things at once. Took FOREVER.....the next morning, they put the bill under the door and it was wrong. They overcharged me by 5$, but they made it right. My biggest complaint was the "five star breakfast buffet" that they offered. What? Cold cereal, fruit and coffee does not make a "five star breakfast buffet". We woke up early to go down and eat and expected eggs, bacon, etc. We ended up eating somewhere else. My only other issue was the slamming doors. Does anyone know how to close a door without slamming it? Doors are heavy so they'll close behind you but no one held onto them. Heard slamming til' after midnight and again early as people were leaving. If you stay there, please don't slam the doors. It shakes the entire place. Very annoying. Would I stay there again? I don't know........
