Quality Inn And Suites Talavi, Glendale

stayed for 4 nights; I was very satisfied with my entire stay. very friendly staff, rooms were COZY and CLEAN! whenever I come back to the area, I am definitely booking at this Quality Inn.

It was quiet and comfortable. the room was completely made up each day and it was clean. Nice to have a fridge and microwave.

Made reservations for 3 separate rooms-no smoking. The 1st couple to arrive were told I ordered smoking & handicapped for all the rooms. Not so but all booked up and had to live with smoke smelling room. Had to leave window open to air it out for 3 DAYS. When they first went to the room it was full of empty bottles, cans and food containers this at 4:00pm. It took 3 people and many trips to clean it. We arrived and was told the other couple wanted a smoking room. I said no way did they want a smoking room (I had a copy of the reservations). Oh well there is nothing else available. Our's needed the corners vacuumed very badly. Really dusty. The bathroom tile was moldy all around the tub. On the second day the thermostat would only work at 62 degrees or it had to be unplugged. They said they would fix it tomorrow - our check out day. All the while the man behind the desk was very nice but unable to help. Needs new management to oversee this hotel as it was very nice otherwise.

Pro: clean; easy access to shopping and restaurants; fridge in room Con: Was there for 5 nights (wedding). Too pricey for what you get. Management is going the "cheap" route. Room smaller than expected (king). Was never given more than two towels (and 1 washcloth, if any) even though we begged for more. Bad lighting and tiny mirror not good for makeup and absolutely no counterspace for toiletries: what designer puts a pedestal sink in a hotel bathroom?? Old TV with major sound issues. I don't mind paying $120/night if it's worth it. This one is not.

We usually stay here when going to Phx--won't stay here again though. The toilet broke and we were told "just put your hand down the back in the water and flush it that way". We couldnt be moved because they were booked. Then my 2 yr old son was playing on the floor and handed me a SMALL BLUE PILL! That wasnt ours!! I told the KID at the front desk and he said "wow". That was it. I asked for a refund or discount and was told to call mgt on Monday. I did and was offered a DISCOUNT on my next visit. Mgt was sorry but doesnt matter. Very rude Front desk employee was about 17 and had friends hanging in the lobby with him all night. VERY unpleasant experience.

Since being refreshed in April of 06, Your stay is a pleasent one. Not only is the location close to Malls and Other shopping, but just minutes away from the new Cardinals Stadium. They have wireless internet available, along with free continental breakfast. Also the pool and spa are beautiful and the Free temporary pass to LA Fitness add to the value. The courtiouse staff and clean, spaciouse rooms... I would bet you couldn't find a better value in Glendale, Arizona for the money.

Terrible service does not begin to describe how awful our stays were here at the quality inn. Not only was it terrible service but the prices were way above for the quaility that the rooms had.

We reserved a Best Western online since we had never been to Glendale before. Once we arrived and looked at the room, we were really depressed and cancelled the reservations. We drove around and found Quality Suites and were so pleased...very accommodating, so clean and in a very safe area. The breakfast of muffin, juice, and fruit plus a copy of the newspaper was a nice touch because it afforded us our privacy. The room had everything we needed - microwave, fridge, iron - and the staff was excellent. We'll always stay here when we travel to Glendale.
