Absolutely wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/09
After a long and very late flight, my family and I were greeted by the receiptionist with warm cookies and bottles of cold water. We asked for a crib and it was already set-up in our room for us. Our room had a microwave and a refrigerator. The showers were great with lots of hot water and pressure. The room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. This hotel is nice and very quiet, especially on the weekends. Also, a decent breakfast is included along with outdoor pool and exercise room. We came from Michigan, so we were unfamiliar with the area. This hotel is located near Beaver Creek Commons, a really nice shopping complet. It is conveniently located to Holly Springs, Fuquay, and Raleigh. I was also able to do a lot of research in the business center that is equipped with free internet. Our only complaint was that it was a little hard to find at night. It is tucked behind a Pizza Hut, so make sure to look for that. There aren't any huge advertising signs in the area.

Above and beyond the call of service-Great Place!
By The Beef Man, 05/17/09
First of all, it was a spectacular place to stay. My son and daughter-in-law set aside some rooms for the graduation for North Carolina State on May 9th, 09. In short, Ms. Theresa, the Guest Services Mgr, went beyond the call of duty in more ways than one, and we felt welcomed and embraced. What she did for our son, Wayne, who received his doctorate from NCS was to have a photograph of him from when he graduated Kindergarten, blown up and framed. We did not expect this kind of hospitality, as well as the friendliness of the hotel staff. It was the kind of generosity that poured into all the guests, and made our short stay all the more enjoyable, given the stressful time that it was. If you are considering a visit to Raleigh, Durham, Chappel Hill or Apex, please consider this little gem of a place. it was great! amazing stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/09
Went to NC for a graduation and stayed at Holiday Inn Ex in Apex. The service was amazing, the place was clean inside and out. The staff were kind and helpful, and the continental breakfast was delicious. We even found a serene place to get in an hour walk to walk off the breakfast. Teresa, Herb, Caroline, and Ben were all so very accommodating. wouldn't want to stay anywhere else while visiting NC. Janiece

Great Staff and Nice Rooms!
By Justin, 04/21/09
We had three rooms for the weekend as we were all there for a wedding and in fact the groom stayed with us one night. We had a great time there. Theresa at the front desk was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better place or a more helpful staff. The Rooms were all clean and perfect too!

Good stay
By Kevin T, 05/25/07
I have found that staying at a Holiday Inn EXPRESS is usually better than staying at a regular Holiday Inn. The hotel looked very modern. It was kept well. The grounds were good. The room was very clean and the bed and linens were also clean and crisp. Bathroom was of nice size. Also has a business center with online access which helped alot. Location is alright, the hotel is hidden off the main road, needs a larger sign. I have learned that many businesses in this area are now visible from the street, must be some type of city ordinace. The hotel is very near the Interstate system and close to food and such. Staff was great, very cordial and efficient. Breakfast in the AM was the standard HIE breakfast. I am not too fond of the whole continental breakfast thing. It was food though, and I ate. Price very reasonable, and worth it.

Excellent place to stay while visiting family
By LAUREN, 06/09/05
The hotel was very clean, the room sizes were large and comfortable. All the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice first thing in the morning. The hotel was close to major roads and eateries. They also offered a great rate while I was visiting family locally.
