La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio Airport, San Antonio

This hotel was so great! The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom was immaculate! Housekeeping was very friendly and accommodated all of our needs. The pool was awesome and my daughter loved it! This is a great hotel for families. Every night we went to the pool and my daughter made friends with other kids and they all played together in the pool every night of our trip. There is a really nice jacuzzi for the parents too! The front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful if you need directions or a shuttle. My only complaint would be the free breakfast buffet. The breakfast had a good variety, especially for kids (waffles, bagels, cereal) but food ran out faster then they stocked up so you have to get there early. At one point there was no milk for coffee or cereal which is placed in two separate places on opposite sides of the counter of food. I asked someone for more milk the employee just handed me a gallon of milk forcing everyone through the line to pass the one container back and forth. The breakfast buffet is very crowded everyday so you would think they would be better prepared. Other than that I think the hotel is awesome! I have stayed at La Quinta's before and always have had a great experience. The room rate is affordable and you are definitely getting what you paid for but I purchased my stay through hotwire.com and paid over 50% less than the hotel’s advertised priced so of course I think the value was even greater for the room!
