The Light at the end of the tunnel

We could not have asked for anything more from the staff. We were greated warmly and the staff was extremly helpful. The location was great even with all the construction in the area. They provided us with the perfect accomodation considering we traveled in the fall and it was very cool there. They have a great indoor pool and spa that allowed the kids something to do while we waited for the attractions we wanted to see to open. When planning our next trip, this hotel will be the top of the list for any desination we choose. The rooms were clean and spacious and provided everything we needed for a great trip. We are looking forward to staying with them again next year.

Where are the clocks?

I stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Muskogee, Ok. a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed with how personable the front desk staff were, and while small, the complimentary breakfast was nice enough. But where are the clocks, there was no wall, radio, or alarm clock to be found. While the front desk did a good job with my wake up calls, I found it disconcerting to be in a room with no way of telling time without turning on the television and searching for the t.v guide channel. Otherwise it was a pleasent place to stay. I did like the fact that the hotel had an indoor pool, and a restaurant (which wasn't open during my stay, but it is a good idea).

A good hotel for the money

This newer hotel in Muskogee is a good hotel for the money. Business travelers can expect to pay around $60-70 a night. Seems to be in a quiet, yet good location. Pool and hot tub are nice. This location has a lounge which was not in service as of yet. Staff seemed to be very knowledgable regarding directions. Location has high speed internet, no business center and a decent continental breakfast.
