Cypress, a Kimpton Hotel, Cupertino

Cypress Hotel is a boutique safari-themed Hotel in downtown Cupertino. The Hotel is 10 miles from San Jose International Airport and six miles from the shoreline amphitheatre. The colorful boutique Cypress Hotel is within a 20-minute drive of most of the South Bay's tourist attractions, from Paramount's Great America Park (8 miles) to Stanford University (12 miles), as well as most major business centers. Designed to resemble a mediterranean villa, the nine-story hotel is a colorful mixture of safari themes, designer touches, and mediterranean style. The lobby area, which includes full-length windows overlooking an outdoor fountain, has a decidedly hip 1960s theme, with a gas fireplace and red-velvet couches, faux-fur throw pillows, and shelves of gorgeous vases and antiquities. The hotel features a restaurant, a 3, 000-square-foot ballroom, and lobby with fireplace. The fitness center has an array of cardio equipment, and each machine has its own TV and remote control. Guest rooms at the hotel come with high-speed Internet access and loads of zebra and leopard prints on the carpet, pillows, walls, and bathrobes. The environmental program, Kimpton Hotels EarthCare, supports a sustainable world by using non-intrusive, high quality, eco-friendly products and services, including In-Room recycling bins, non-toxic cleaners, organic honor bar items and water/energy efficient measures.
