Drury Inn Suites San Ant Northwest Medical Center, San Antonio

I was in San Antonio on business and decided to stay at the Drury because of the reviews I have read. Well, as you can tell by my rating I loved the experience. The service was great, the free breakfast was better than what I would have paid for at the Village Inn across the parking lot, and the room was very nice. The free internet access and the free long distance are nice touches. I am going to San Antonio again this weekend with my family and we will be staying at the Drury. Highly recommend.

my husband and i just spent 5 days with you in San Antonio...wht a joy! Your service and your warm hospitality made our first trip to San Antonio so enjoyable and it certainly will not be our last. Not only will be stay with you if we ever return, but we will always check out other Drury Inns wherever we go. I am not sure we will find people as helpful and friendly as yourselves! You helped us locate a church on Sunday morning, called taxis for us, recommended restraunts, and made sure our rooms were perfect. My family and I spent 2 days of our Spring break there and was excited about the free stuff. It truly was worth the extra bucks. The free mixed drinks were great and the food was as good as any place we would of pd to eat. The freebies were defintaley a great plus (with a group of 10) We only had to eat out once! We ended up being rained out and had to stay in so it was hard to get the rooms cleaned on time and get things that were requested like extra pillows and stuff We were still happy with our visit and will stay again. Super close to Six flags! Oh ya-the indoor pool was a great thing too (especially since we were rained out--TX weather!)

All the luxury of a high price hotel and the fealing of home, at half the cost! Great for families and pets. Great location with everything close to the hotel.

Bottom Line: We'd come back and stay here again. This hotel is relatively new, and it shows. The standard of construction was high - things look nice, and appear well-built. The service was super. We asked for a rollaway bed, and got one. The free buffet at breakfast and in the evening (it says snack, but you can fill up) are great. Staff was attentive and kept the place clean. We have 2 small kids and they loved it. The location is great, and there are lots of restaurant choices nearby, including within walking distance. Also close to a big supermarket. Hint: book on the Drury website and try the e-saver rate; you'll probably save over whatever rate Yahoo travel offers (sorry, Yahoo). OK, the downside: The hotel is very popular with visitors with kids, including from Mexico. We stayed here during Holy Week (week before Easter), which was a school holiday. It was crowded, and kids were everywhere. Many of the kids were not well behaved. The room was pretty quiet, though, and walls are solid. Did hear the kids in the room above us running around. If you want quiet, spring for a hotel down on the river, which are pricier and therefore unlikely to attract as many large families.

we have stayed here 4 years in a row. i recommend to everyone.great indoor pool. the breakfast is excellant and the service is supurb. great centralized location.

Clean, comfortable, good location, nice staff, great place to stay. The price was good and they serve breakfast plus an evening snack time. We would go back.

Had to spent 2 weeks in San Antonio for training for my job. My experience was wonderful! The rooms were clean & fresh everyday. The staff was wonderful. The amenities can't be beat! Can't wait for more training &/or meetings. This will be my next choice, whether for business or fun!

I disliked the noise level, which made our stay very uncomfortable. The trash collectors came too early to collect the trash and woke us up. Then I tried to go back to sleep and I kept hearing a dog bark. Then I tried again to rest before check out and the family across the hall kept running in and out of their room and slamming the door. The room wasn't as clean as our prior stay. The refrigerator door was dirty. The shower curtain had a sour smell. The towels didn't smell fresh. The sheets on my side of the bed smelled like somebody's perfume.

We were very impressed with this hotel. Better than expected. The room was spacious and clean. The entire family loved the free breakfast (eggs, sausage, pastries, waffles, cereal, yogurt, ect). Best (free) margaritas were here at the hotel rather than on the riverwalk. We will stay here again. Parking was a little difficult with an SUV.
