Is this the same hotel?

The hotel is in a historic building and has some beautiful features, including lots of marble and very high vaulted ceilings. The decor is funky and fun, but not overly luxurious.
When I first arrived I was given room 153. Do not accept this room under any circumstances. It was small and smelled as if it had been flooded. All of the rooms on the first level are in the basement of this building. They have very high ceilings - at least 16 feet - and small windows at the very top.
I returned immediately to the front desk, and they relocated me to another room on level one. This room was larger and had a better layout but still the idea of not having any windows bothered me. I kept my bags packed in hopes of getting a room higher up the next day as others checked out.
The front desk person in the morning was helpful and offered to move me when a room became available. When I returned later that day, I learned I had been moved to the 4th level.
The next morning, the water in the shower was pretty tepid. There was a large convention in town so I assumed I needed to get up earlier to catch a hot shower. When I returned in the evening, I decided to take a quick shower before dinner. Again, no hot water. When I returned from dinner, still no hot water. At this point I called the front desk and was told that something was broken and they were working on it. This went on for the remaining three days we were there.
After digging, I finally learned that the downpours the city was experiencing had caused a pipe to break. On the third day, I also learned completely by chance that the hotel had an arrangement with the YWCA around the corner to allow guests to use their shower facilities.
It is not the hotel's fault that a pipe broke, but it was handled poorly. We would have appreciated a prompt communication from the hotel detailing the situation and letting us know of any arrangements (YWCA) that had been made. On our final day they gave us a voucher for a free nights stay, but by then none of us ever wanted to see this hotel again.
The hotel has coffee in the lobby in the morning, which ran out every morning during our stay. The hotel also has wine in the evenings that did not run out. There was not a coffee pot in my room or those of my companions - something we all found odd.
The hotel does provide two newspapers each day which was nice, but the marble floors and inch of space at the bottom of the doors made the halls very noisy. Who needs a wake up call when you have the thud, thud, thud of newspapers at 6 every morning.
The bed was comfortable and the rooms come with some nice amenities like free high speed internet access. The bath a bit small, but fine enough and the shower was nice when we had hot water. Some of my companions complained of humidity in their rooms, but after getting out of 153 I did not have that problem.
I believe this hotel was fully booked due to the convention, and maybe they were just overwhelmed, but the experience was definitely not the quality one would expect. This was not a terrible hotel, but for the price you can get better service and quality in DC. I would not stay at this hotel again.
