Amazing find in mid-town Manhattan
My wife and I stayed in the Inn on 23rd Street during the first week of July on our honeymoon. We cannot stress enough how much we loved it. The hotel was wonderfully cozy, the rooms (we were placed in a queen the first night as we arrived on a Sunday, and the room I really wanted the other three)were very roomy, especially for midtown, and the price was very good. With taxes and fees, we paid $300 a night for a 500sf room with a king sized bed. Higher than Yahoo Travel lists, but still very very reasonable. The Inn was within walking distance of many great restaraunts (try the Red Cat or Giorgios of Grammercy or the Comfort Diner), nightclubs (Duvet is a few blocks over), sights (the Flatiron is right down the street, as is Madison Square Park, and the ESB is not far either), and shopping (its not far from 5th Ave). Finally the staff was very very nice, and the food in the morning was great and often there were left-overs throughout. Highest recommendations to anyone looking for a great romantic and relaxing stay.
