Speechless!
By ,
Speechless.... that's what we were regarding the service we received from the moment we walked in the front door until we sadly had to leave. We were greeted very warmly by Brian, who gave us a tour of the hotel and escorted us to our room. I cannot fail to comment on the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Although we slept in late and missed breakfast, we still enjoyed our stay at the inn and would most definitely return there in future. :-) The only minus is the absence of the window view, but with such great ammenities within the inn, that seemed trivial. Kudos to the entire staff of The Inn on 23rd Street!!!! See you all soon....

great, but prices not accurate
By ,
We have stayed at the Inn on 23rd several times. It is highly rated on all the travel sites and doesn't need our praise. It is very nice. My gripe however, is that the prices listed on ALL the travel sites, Frommes, Fodors, and this one are very outdated. The rooms are now in the high 300's. Not a bargain anymore.

Amazing find in mid-town Manhattan
By ,
My wife and I stayed in the Inn on 23rd Street during the first week of July on our honeymoon. We cannot stress enough how much we loved it. The hotel was wonderfully cozy, the rooms (we were placed in a queen the first night as we arrived on a Sunday, and the room I really wanted the other three)were very roomy, especially for midtown, and the price was very good. With taxes and fees, we paid $300 a night for a 500sf room with a king sized bed. Higher than Yahoo Travel lists, but still very very reasonable. The Inn was within walking distance of many great restaraunts (try the Red Cat or Giorgios of Grammercy or the Comfort Diner), nightclubs (Duvet is a few blocks over), sights (the Flatiron is right down the street, as is Madison Square Park, and the ESB is not far either), and shopping (its not far from 5th Ave). Finally the staff was very very nice, and the food in the morning was great and often there were left-overs throughout. Highest recommendations to anyone looking for a great romantic and relaxing stay.

Enchanting!
By ,
My husband and I stayed here for a week, and we were enchanted. We have stayed in many B&Bs, particularly in Europe, but none so good as the Inn on 23rd. The staff are friendly and most helpful, the atmosphere is charming and warm, and the amenities (such as wine and cheese on Fridays and Saturdays, free museum passes, and even stamps) were second to none. We will definitely be back!

Too expensive
By ,
The place is really cozy, beatiful and very well located, but price is high. There s no such a tariff as $219. Paid almost $400 with taxes, wasn t funny and wouldn t come back.

Amazing Place in Manhattan
By ,
We stayed here last New Years Eve and we have to say the place is amazing, extremely well located, with the kind of things you would expect from a very special place located in Manhattan. Breakfast is excellent (and hand made), rooms are exquisite, library outstanding and a very large etc. for the amazing things you will find here. Come and give a try, we will come back next time!
