Econo Lodge Inn and Suites Salina, Salina

The pool is a joke...it has not been maintained in quite some time...I sunbathed by it in 97 degree weather and went to the room for a cool shower. The breakfast was awful ... the toilet needed to have the O ring replaced as it was wobbly ... the water in the shower went from warm to freezing with every flush of a toilet adjacent of my room.... the beds are very uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit could bot keep up with the rising temperatures.

A gentleman named Rufus at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. All around friendly staff. The rooms were clean. They had a GREAT pool with a slide. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Decent continental breakfast. Beats Motel 6 all to heck at just a little over the price of their hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

The employees made us feel right at home. The kids enjoyed the pool which had a winding slide. And they had a variety of things for breakfast not just cereal and coffee.

I had read the reviews and thought this would be a great place for my family to stay, boy was I wrong. The carpet was filthy, the chair was stained. The toilet would not flush properly. The waterslide was broke. The shower handle was falling apart. Then to top it all off, I woke up with a roach crawling across my face. When I talked to the manager about my experience she said she would discount the room $20. But then she charged my credit card full price. It took several phone calls to get the matter resolved. Needless to say, I am not a satisfied customer.
