Baymont Inn and Suites Salina, Salina

A gentleman named Rufus at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. All around friendly staff. The rooms were clean. They had a GREAT pool with a slide. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Decent continental breakfast. Beats Motel 6 all to heck at just a little over the price of their hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Wireless Internet - NOT. Four days of calling the front desk only to hear the same thing, "I'll tell my manager". Never one returned called not one correction of the problem. When asking to talk to the person in charge directly, "well, they won't be back until later, I'll have them call you". Ya, right. The carpets are dirty and the place is no longer being kept up as it was before. This has become a run down has been establishment. Best advice, call another hotel for reservations.

The employees made us feel right at home. The kids enjoyed the pool which had a winding slide. And they had a variety of things for breakfast not just cereal and coffee.

I had read the reviews and thought this would be a great place for my family to stay, boy was I wrong. The carpet was filthy, the chair was stained. The toilet would not flush properly. The waterslide was broke. The shower handle was falling apart. Then to top it all off, I woke up with a roach crawling across my face. When I talked to the manager about my experience she said she would discount the room $20. But then she charged my credit card full price. It took several phone calls to get the matter resolved. Needless to say, I am not a satisfied customer.
