Worst Hotel Stay I have ever had.
Broken toilet, late night security guard harrassment, terrible noise as early as 7am through 10 from the dining area within 20 feet of our room, and noone seemed to care we felt entirely cheated for $190 for a 10 hour stay.
We were celebrating the wedding of my fiancee's sister. My fiancee was the maid of honor, and lo and behold we were placed in a room on the west side of the hotel's first floor, her sister was placed on the 3rd floor of the east side of the hotel. Even though my fiancee made it quite clear she was the maid of honor when booking the room, they obviously made no attempt whatsoever to place her own sister anywhere near her. And upon hearing about this, the desk attendants didn't seem to care one bit beyond a hollow "sorry".
Literally minutes after we arrived at the hotel following a wonderful wedding, guests from our party (who were scattered all throughout the hotel even though we booked a "block" of 15 rooms) were harassed in the halls by security even though it was only to move from one room to another to pass along congratulations. At least 3 incidents of this type occurred 10 minutes apart
They were more than happy enough to accept the nearly $3000 worth of bookings for the night, but did absolutely nothing to make any of us feel comfortable. How can a hotel serve customers without providing any hospitality or comfort, which is supposed to be their business? And then in the morning we woke up to endless noise for 3 hours from the nearby dining area (the spaces under the doors are an abnormal 2" which did not help) as well as a broken toilet. Imagine being maid of honor at your own sister's wedding only to wake up the morning after and not be able to go to the bathroom in your own $190 room.
If you want to feel totally unimportant for lots of money, and ruin any beautiful and special days of your life with a terrible hotel stay, like we did, go to the Fox Hollow.
The bride and groom spent the whole night angry and separated from the people they care about.
