Superb Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/09
Our stay at the Hotel Amarano was outstanding. We arrived early and asked if there was anyway possible to get a room. The front desk staff was very accomodating and within minutes we were checked into a lovely room. Large, clean, beautiful linen and even a rubber fishy in the tub. We did not get to try the restaurant, but did thoroughly enjoy the bar area. Our bartender was very interesting to talk with as were the other patrons (the intimate area made conversation easy). The only drawback was valet only parking $28.00. We thought this was a little excessive for a neighbor hotel.

Be aware
By Frederick, 03/01/08
Just to let everyone know, this hotel does not necessarily honor your confirmed reservation. I showed up earlier this week for my stay and the desk clerk informed me that a number of guests had decided to stay over and so they were "walking" some guests like me despite confirmed reservations. The clerk said it was the general manager's policy and he does this regularly because it results in higher occupancy. The driver said that the employees hate this policy since they have to bear the brunt of the disappointment. Anyway, this hotel may choose not to honor your reservation and you could end up like me getting a ride to the Burbank Airport Marriot. So be aware when you book that its a one way deal: if you cancel they charge yoour credit card, if they want to make a change they send you to the Marriot.

Honeymooners dream
By Ronnie, 07/11/07
I stayed here with my Husband the weekend we got married. The hotel was MORE than accomodating and they even went the extra mile and added an extra touch by putting a embroidered intitial on my pillow case. Our entire wedding party came back to the Library (hotel bar) for a night cap and considering how loud we all were, the hotel service never waivered. I'd definitely recommend this place for a weekend trip, an over night as it's posh like the W hotel. The bed is like a pillow of clouds! It's in a residential neighrborhood with Starbucks directly across the street. Quaint, cute and a small gem.

Beautiful Hotel, secluded, food staff and yes the beds are incredible!!!! Highly recommend. It is without a doubt the finest hotel in the area. It is like a mini Peninsula. We went for a weekend getaway, enjoyed the lounge and had fabalous room service.

Will never go there again!
By Christine, 02/16/07
No self-parking available. Underground parking garage is for "Valet Parking only" costing $24 a night. Only other option is finding a spot on the nearby streets. The rooms were remarkably plain and unimpressive considering the cost. The walls are paper thin - could hear EVERYTHING going on on either side, especially the noisy, active and unruly children next door. The inside door lock was broken. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room to place on the doorknob. No automatic express check out. And no soap in the bath/shower. Only a tiny little round soap on the sink.

This place was great!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/05
I loved everything about the hotel....The beds, out of this world. The staff was great as well. We never thought such a great place was in Burbank. Went to the bar and was amazed the bartender rememberd our names....not only that, he showed us some of the most amazing card tricks we have ever seen....This place is great, and check out the bartender! His name is Harvey!

Amazing!
By susie, 11/25/05
Simply put, the most elegant spot around. What a treat to have such a gem in Burbank. Would expect to have to go to Beverly Hills for such impeccable service. The beds and linens are beyond belief...we were ready to move in and never go home!

The Ritz meets the W
By J, 05/24/05
The Graciela was warm and inviting and the staff was always pleasant and accomodating. However, the lasting impression for me were the beds, they are amazing! Nice thick mattresses, big fluffy pillows leading to a solid night's sleep. If that is not enough, the lotions and soaps along with a massage like shower start your day off with a smile, or end it with luxury. This hotel is both trendy and elegant, and above all welcoming. It's the only place I would consider staying in the area.
