Ho-Chunk Casino Hotel & Convention Ctr, Baraboo

I and my mother 85 years of age, and me at 400 pounds..asked for a room close to the casino..the person must have went deaf on that request, cause they put us on the farthest piece of there property..it took me 20 minutes to walk back to my room from the casino floor..i'm not really a exercise person but i got mine on that trip there...other than that the hotel is fantastic..the bellhop was great, came to the rooms for our luggage on time too..there buffet was ok some things were cold and some just didn't look to good..went out to eat breakfast down the street, didn't want to chance it twice..they used to have packages now they just charge you for a room and thats all you get..the rooms are nice and the amenities are good too liked the fridge n micro..but for a 100+ a room just for a bed is kinda to rich for our blood..next time we'll stay at the MOTEL 6 down the road and save a 100 bucks to lose in the casino...

Have been to the Casino before but this is the first time we stayed in the hotel. Room was very clean and large. Towels were large and soft. Wet bar and large fridge were nice. Every room had a balcony with seating. Even the soaps they provided were nice. Not the cheap slivers like other hotels provide. Only complaint was terrible pillows. Next time, I'm bringing my own.

THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE CASINO HERE IN MILWAUKEE. THE STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, AND NO PROBLEM TO WATCH YOUR MACHINE WHILE YOU USE THE RESTROOM. THE BUFFET IS EXCELLENT. THE PLACE IS IMMACULATE. THE ROOMS ARE SPOTLESS AND THE BEDS VERY COMFORTABLE, THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE HANG OUT.

Went to Ho Chunk to gamble there for the first time and must I must say I was not impressed. The machines and tables were great but the dealers were rude and the casino had enough smoke in it that it felt like I was taking a hit every time I took a breath. Clouds of smoke I should of brought a facemask with me. If you are a non smoker do not go into this casino

I've been to Ho Chunk a couple of times and the rooms are always clean. Nice area for the kids to have fun. Not enough places to eat and needs a pool! It's located in a convenient location to the Dells.

When we called about the $69 price special, we were told this price was issued by yahoo without the permission of the hotel. The special price is invalid and will not be accepted by hotel staff.

Walking distnce to the casino.Husband uses a cane to get around.We were in a group of 3 other couples and had great rooms which were located close to each other so we could get together for our Happy Hours.

we are from Michigan and have many casino there. I still love this one, room are great, food good and resonably, casino is very entertaining. I've never got rich at any of them, but love to go.

I have stayed at Ho Chunk numerous times and am very satisfied with the entire experience. I think the food is great and service is much better than at other casinos. I haven't had much luck as far as the gambling goes but had a good time regardless. Just a quick comment for those who have written reviews stating that there has to be more to do if they lose their money etc. My suggestion would be that they take that time to learn how to spell and use proper grammar. I was amazed at the lack of writing skills etc. Also, when going to a casino, it's important to plan ahead so your money doesn't run out -- allowing a set amount per day works well. Keep up the good work, Ho Chunk!!

cause i used tolive in wisconsin dells & my dad used to work as black jack dealer &my sister jolie&my step mom danliele used to work as a house keeper! we were really rich you shoud go you"ll have fun if let it happen & you dont have to worry about howmuch money you spend at least its worth it! but now i live in canada in hobbema,alberta with my mom but all i have to say is have if you go you wont regret it by:ilena lee
