USE A COUPON THAT WE RECEIVED FOR A FREE ROOM.HOTEL CLERCK MESSED IT UP AND WE ENDED BEING CHARGED .WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD RECEIVE A REFUND IN 10 DAYS AND HAVE YET TO SEE IT.WE WERE TOLD BY THE HOTEL.NEXT TIME UP THERE WOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR THE NIGHT.WRONG AGAIN.NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO REACH THE HOTEL MANAGER HAVE BEEN FUTILE.OUR CALLS HAVE NEVER BEEN RETURNED.NOW WE STAY AT THE BEST WESTERN.ONLY 4 MILE DOWN THE ROAD.HALF THE RATE,FREE BREAKFAST,NICE CLEAN ROOMS WITH A MICROWAVE,FRIDGE AND COFFE POT.AND MUCH BETTER TV.

Review ho chunk hotel. The standard rooms rate a ten for cleanliness and outstanding design features like large flat panel tv above a long wood bar complete with a cabinet hiding an ice cold fridge and a roll out desk tucked under for eating on your bed or to conduct business on a laptop.. And if bed sitting doesn’t please you there is also the choice of lounging on side chairs with matching ottomans or stepping out to sit on the balcony or patio. The bathrooms boast a man sized walk in shower with a centered large shower head and plenty of plush towels and toiletry articles to pamper you with. The pool whirl pool area feels like more like a premiere spa treatment center with large boulders and plant life staged throughout. When you’re ready for the nightlife you can head up the escalator past exotic lighted water fall to the wo zha wa sports bar for pizza, chili fries and drinks while you watch your favorite sports event on a large screen tv. On the weekends they offer live entertainment. Or if you’re really hungry you might stop by the buffet first and fill up your plates with all kinds of weekly specials. And of course there are drinks and entertainment along with plenty of penny slots, bingo, blackjack and roulette tables in the casino too. Ho chunk hotel is a wonderful place to visit, you can stay for the night the weekend or just for the day. They even have something special for the kids with supervised play and fun while the parents enjoy the casino. But if you ask me it makes a wonderful honeymoon or romantic get away spot.

We had difficulty making a reservation. We called the toll-free number several times, but no one answered. We did eventually get through, & after that, all went well. The hotel is clean & quiet with nice balconies. The steakhouse had great food, great service, & excellent live piano. The casino & hotel lobby do have a bad smoke smell that is offensive to non-smokers. We are trying to make another reservation, but, again, no one answers. Overall, the experience here is good, but don't expect perfection.

I and my mother 85 years of age, and me at 400 pounds..asked for a room close to the casino..the person must have went deaf on that request, cause they put us on the farthest piece of there property..it took me 20 minutes to walk back to my room from the casino floor..i'm not really a exercise person but i got mine on that trip there...other than that the hotel is fantastic..the bellhop was great, came to the rooms for our luggage on time too..there buffet was ok some things were cold and some just didn't look to good..went out to eat breakfast down the street, didn't want to chance it twice..they used to have packages now they just charge you for a room and thats all you get..the rooms are nice and the amenities are good too liked the fridge n micro..but for a 100+ a room just for a bed is kinda to rich for our blood..next time we'll stay at the MOTEL 6 down the road and save a 100 bucks to lose in the casino...

Have been to the Casino before but this is the first time we stayed in the hotel. Room was very clean and large. Towels were large and soft. Wet bar and large fridge were nice. Every room had a balcony with seating. Even the soaps they provided were nice. Not the cheap slivers like other hotels provide. Only complaint was terrible pillows. Next time, I'm bringing my own.

THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE CASINO HERE IN MILWAUKEE. THE STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, AND NO PROBLEM TO WATCH YOUR MACHINE WHILE YOU USE THE RESTROOM. THE BUFFET IS EXCELLENT. THE PLACE IS IMMACULATE. THE ROOMS ARE SPOTLESS AND THE BEDS VERY COMFORTABLE, THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE HANG OUT.

Went to Ho Chunk to gamble there for the first time and must I must say I was not impressed. The machines and tables were great but the dealers were rude and the casino had enough smoke in it that it felt like I was taking a hit every time I took a breath. Clouds of smoke I should of brought a facemask with me. If you are a non smoker do not go into this casino

I've been to Ho Chunk a couple of times and the rooms are always clean. Nice area for the kids to have fun. Not enough places to eat and needs a pool! It's located in a convenient location to the Dells.

When we called about the $69 price special, we were told this price was issued by yahoo without the permission of the hotel. The special price is invalid and will not be accepted by hotel staff.

Walking distnce to the casino.Husband uses a cane to get around.We were in a group of 3 other couples and had great rooms which were located close to each other so we could get together for our Happy Hours.
