A good hotel with a great location. The room was small and our bed was a pull out couch, but the hotel was clean and up to date. No real complaints. It served us well.

The outstanding location makes up for a lot! But don't expect an apartment facing the Seine -- very few of the rooms do, and you probably won't get one. Our 1-bedroom apartment was nice, if generic -- this is not a place you'd go for Parisian atmosphere. We had serious problems with a lack of heat during our December trip, which we phoned the desk about but never was fixed. The windows were drafty and the garbage trucks outside the bedroom woke us up at 6 each morning. The water in the shower was not always hot, either. These flaws are really unacceptable in a hotel of this price. But the thing is: I'd still go back there! I'd try to get an apartment on the other side of the building -- maybe the nonsmoking rooms are in the worst section. But I'd go back despite all the problems, just for the chance to step out the door, cross the street, and there to begin a stroll along the Seine ... how can you beat that?
