AmericInn Lincoln North, Lincoln

This was a very warm and friendly place to stay. New Sheets, clean rooms, very quiet. Has great pool area and a wonderful breakfast. Hot waffles, biscuits & Gravy, hard boiled eggs. I would definately stay here again!!!! Great Value!!! They also have suites with fireplaces and whirlpools!!! :)

I checked in early morning, was greeted by a very grumpy man that smelled as though he had been drinking. He seemed distrubed that I appeared at the door so early (1:00 or so AM) I had to be buzzed in, as the doors were locked. He seemed to be partially asleep when checking me into my room. I had to return to the main desk in the morning in order to get a clean towel as the wash towels I had were dirty. I am not sure if the room had been cleaned the day before. The room was very musty. The girl at the desk was rude and rolled her eyes at me when I told her the towels were dirty. I went back to my room to shower and returned at 9:45 to eat from the breakfast bar. I was told by the same lady (I think her name tag said Wendy) that breakfast was being put away, she she would leave the juice machine on for a little while but everything else was put away. I was under the impression by the sign on the wall that breakfast was until 10:00. When I went to check out I stopped to ask if I could speak to a manager. She indicated that the manager works at the South location and I could try to call her there. I left and tried to call her at the other location and found that she was not there either and she probably would not be in at all that day and couldn't guarantee that she would be in the next either. With all the hotels in the area I should have picked a different one.

I used to be a regular at Americinn, mostly because of the young lady named Michelle who was the assistant manager. Since she left the staff is not up to the standards she had set. I was always greeted with a smile and good conversation. Michelle always used my name. The last time I returned I was greeted with disregard and basic rudeness. I would think the staff could have learned from this manager how to keep guests. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism I received on my last visit. I will not be returning to AMericinn. It is unfortunate for them that the one employee that made the hotel experience worth while is no longer there.

We were in Lincoln for an emergency trip, & so it wasn't planned. We pulled into the AmericInn on the advice of some family in town. We found the hotel wonderfully priced & fantastically clean. The staff was knowledgeable, polite & friendly. We have an infant & everyone was simply wonderful with her. We had some cousins come over & enjoy the indoor pool & billiards, as well as a cup of hot chocolate. All in all, my only disappointment is that you don't have more locations. I've traveled across the country & Europe & have rarely been so pleased with my accommodations. You have our business whenever we're in proximity. Richard, Gladstone Missouri

I travel for business often and always stay at AmericInns. I know that when I stay at AmericInn, no matter where I'm at, I know I'm going to get a great night's sleep. This hotel was so clean and the staff was excellent. A very nice place to stay if traveling on the interstate!
