Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas I Drive Orlando, Orlando

My family has a time share @ Vistana, we have stayed here almost every time we have been to Orlando. One year we stayed @ the quality inn and our Vacation was not the same after staying@ Vistana. If I am in Orlando this is the only place I want to stay at. The place is beautiful, its close to all the attrations and its very comfortable for the entire family. It doesnt hurt that the master bedroom has a jacuzzi either. We even took a few days just to hang out @ the resort and you dont feel like you are missing anything. There are enough activities everyone can enjoy. I highly recommend this place. I would even pick this place over any of the Disney resorts.

Location is good close to outlet mall. No shuttle to Disney. Service was horrible. There was a mixup on Shertons part with my room. They were not at all accomodating or understanding. I will not stay there or any of there other resorts ever again.

Enjoyed the kid friendly pools and the room was great for a family. Skip the tours however. Packing your own meals and using the built in kitchenettes works great for a family. Each room also has its own washer /dryer for clothes so you can pack much lighter.

I 100% love this place... I took a tour about 2 years ago of the resort and found it interesting. Last year I went back and stayed for 8 days 7 nights and was sold. The rooms are HUGE and have all the amenities (full kitchen, washer and dryer, tv in every room, etc.)needed to stay comfortably unlike a regular hotel rooms. Its quiet and the pool is a great place to take the kids, there are actually two pools on the resort. Overall its a great place to stay with the family and is close to all the major attractions and main highways.

We were invited on a preferred customer invitation. We tried it out and loved it. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have someone escort you to your villa upon your arrival. Just to be sure you have everything you asked for and how to run things in the villa.

If you are disabled I will tell you upfront there are no handicapped parking spaces available. The workers park in your parking spaces in front of your villa if you are close to the front, so if you cannot walk long distances carrying your luggage, you will want to stay somewhere else. Also the walls are paper thin. So if you are by someone really having a good time prepare to stay up until they go to bed.

Staying at the Sheraton Vistana Resort made my vacation like no other. I live in Michigan and getting to spend a week on vacation here was great. It is a very family friendly place with ammenities for both kids and adults. The service was also amazing; there are very friendly people there that are always willing to help out. I had an amazing time and can't wait to go back again this year!!

I liked it as soon as I walked in to my room its close to theme parks, 7 pools that I could go to and three of them are open till 1am there's restraunts right on site and even a pizza hut. I could have just stayed at the resort for the week with out going anywhere and have tones of fun can't wait to go again

We are RCI owners and this is the best resort that we've been to so far! The location was great, not too close but close enough for a short travel. The room was clean and spacious & very well maintained. The grounds were excellent and we really enjoyed getting fresh air on the bridge over the lake on the property. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone planning on going to Orlando for the parks or just on a relaxing vacation!

We have just returned from our stay at the Vistana Villages (1/13/07 � 1/20/07). First, PLEASE CALL AND CHECK IF THE MAIN POOL IS OPEN � it was closed the entire week we were there due to maintenance. They did not bother to tell us or anyone else staying there at the time that it would be closed. I think we still would�ve gone, but at least we would�ve known what we were in for. Another point is that the restaurant is closed. The only way to get food in the hotel is through room service which is very limited. Basically sandwiches and salads. It�s not overly priced and there aren�t any big surcharges, but it�s not what you expect. Luckily, there is a Publix market very close. And, we discovered on our last night, there is a yummy Thai restaurant a few miles away. We did take out as I couldn�t stand the idea of getting room service again. Do not stay in Building 1. This is right next door to where they do the sales pitch for the time shares. They were constantly moving people through the building. I particularly did not like being included in their sales pitch when they would see us and say enthusiastically, �Are you having a good time???� At first, we were polite and would say, �Yes� but as the week wore on, I final replied with, �It would be better if the main pool was open.� They retorted with, �Did you hear we are opening up a new pool with a water slide?� If I had been quicker, I would�ve said, �That doesn�t help me this week with my kids, now does it?� Anyway, if you can stay in another building, do so. The Keys section is newer but is further away from the main pool. The staff was just okay. I didn�t find they were accommodating or knowledgeable. After reading reviews on the boards about this hotel, I did follow the advice and brought a few kitchen towels and a sponge. The sponge was definitely useful, but since there were just the family of 4 of us, the one kitchen towel they provide would�ve been fine. It just depends on the number in your party. They provided us with a small container of dish soap, 2 dishwasher packs, and a small laundry detergent to get started. We also had a roll of paper towels in the room but I am not sure if that was leftover from the previous guests. A few positive notes: It was great that you didn�t have to bring your towels with you. You can simply check them out at the guest service desk whenever you need them. Also, the two bedroom/two bathroom condo was in overall nice condition and had the kind of amenities you would want (washer/dryer, full kitchen, dining table, living area, etc.) This was just my brain dump from the past week, but I wanted to share since I found other�s review very helpful.
