Probably would not stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/16/07
The location was ideal with many shops, bars and resuarants nearby. It is convienent to the Metro, taxi stands and within walking distance to many sights including the Louvre, Luxemburg Gardens, the Pantheon and the Sorbonne. My husband and I stayed for 7 nights, changing rooms once after two nights because the bed was not what we had reserved. We were given two twins pushed together instead of one bed. The second room was very small and faced the street, noisy because of construction in front of the hotel. The bedspread was torn and dirty looking so we opted to put it in the cupboard. The cleaning staff only left one glass, despite knowing two people were sharing the room. The bathroom was not clean , shampoo or soap was not replenished on a daily basis. Everyday it seemed something was not up to par. Also, some guests were given slippers and robes but we were not. We would not stay there again.

The service was great. The staff spoke fluent English. The room was very small, but comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic.

Our son loved it!
By Aimee, 5/19/05
Villa Pantheon lived up to it's 4 star rating. The decor is beautiful and the room was spacious enough (by Paris standards) for 2 adults and 1 child. We think our son loved Paris because of this beautiful hotel. A British guy named Jeff in the front desk made us feel welcome. All the staff we came across were friendly, helpful and accomodating. When you stay there, make sure to ask for a room facing the garden. We were given a room facing Rue des Ecoles and you could hear all sorts of street noise, especially in the morning. However, the view of the street is wonderful! The location is okay. It's walking distance to the Notre Dame and The Pantheon is right behind it. If you like night action, Boulevard St Michel is just a couple of blocks away. Everything else seemed far.

A LOUSY 4 STAR HOTEL
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/04
My Mom & I stayed there, and the staff was incompentent. 1. A couple of the desk people were snotty towards us. 2.we asked for 2 separate beds, but they gave us one single bed. So, we had to go back down to the lobby & had to wait until they fixed their problem. We finally got our room, but we had to go back down to the lobby again, because they gave us the wrong key. 3. rooms were small. I could not drag my wheel luggage past the end of the bed. 4. I asked everyday for the complimentary newspaper to be put outside the door like the other hotels do. They never did it on any of the days we spent there. 5. be prepared to wait a long time at the front desk- they are soooooo slow on even something very simple.
