Best place i've stayed!
By Mel, 07/08/08
I loved how clean it was! The people were all so friendly and helpful too. The downside was that we had to call each morning for cleaning service, but that was about it. The location was perfect, in the middle of every attraction you would want to see! It is an hour away from Hollywood, 20 min from Disney Land and about an hour and a half from San Diego Zoo. The Hotel was very private and extremely comfortable. I strongly suggest staying here.

perfect romantic get away
By Ann, 10/10/07
The Gov's Suite was beautiful, Luxurious towels, fruit and 2 and 1/2 baths. Beautiful view of the ocean - You won't want to leave. Perfect place for a romantic weekend if you're lucky enough!!

Very comfortable
By Dani, 06/23/07
My best friend and I decided to get a room at the Hyatt for a little getaway for no particular reason other than to get away! We loved the room we stayed in. We went with the king sized bed and it was extremely comfortable. We went out for a crazy late night of shopping, getting a new piercing at Tommy T's Body Piercing (which was really close to the hotel. Thanks Tommy Amanda's new piercings look great!), and having a couple of drinks at Gallagher's before heading back to the hotel only to stay up late and order room service. The wireless internet connection came in handy. The service was superb, the staff was very respectful and sweet. We will stay at the Hyatt the next time we're looking for a little escape. Thanks again for everything!

Best Hotel on the beach
By Jani, 06/20/07
My family and I loved this hotel! The access to the beach is a plus and the room was nicely decorated. We are a family of 4 with teenage sons. The hotel is beautiful. The Californian restaurant was wonderful. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner alone while our sons had dinner at the other restaurant on site. We are planning on returning next week to this hotel, and are looking forward to our stay. The beauty of this hotel will amaze you. Just a note, we stayed in June and found that there was a wedding on the grounds every day that we stayed, which was a bit awkward when walking around the grounds to get to the pool or the beach. I guess that means it is a popular wedding destination. I would totally recommend this hotel.

Gorgeous Hotel
By Dani, 06/02/07
The service was great. My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the rooms with 2 Queen beds. The price was definitely worth the luxury. We enjoyed some wine at the Lounge at the hotel. We also had a fabulous time going to the beach. We even got a new piercing at Tommy T's Body Piercing after we saw another girl at the hotel who referred us. I can't say enough good things about the hotel employees. They were very helpful and considerate. We will definitely go back and stay again. Thanks so much!

Pretty Disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/07
Room: It was nice, clean and with a partial view of the ocean (when on the balcony), however, no movie channels or DVD/Video options were surprising given the cost per night: $250. Also, there was a keyboard but no easy access to a computer in the room and the ice box was not very cold. Amenities: Great pool but the jacuzzi next to the pool was cold in the morning; we were directed to another set of jacuzzi's that were warmer but still not as warm as we would have liked. Service at the pool was lacking too; I ordered a drink and it took approx 20 minutes to arrive. Restaurants: Although we went for an early meal at the Californian--we were the first-- my son was served his dinner and finished by the time my entree showed up (appros 35 minutes from ordering). Service in General: This is what struck me the most: I was told on the phone, Valet was the only parking option. Upon arrival, the young man hastened me to get my items together, directed me to leave the windows down (I guess his perferance) and was generally inhospitable. I also was not given nor saw any info re: $25 for overnight valet. The next morning, I learned there was another $10 overnight option for parking. The Consiearge service (sp?) was also poor; when I asked for some directions related to Catalina Island, the man made it sound like I did not know what I was talking about and when he did locate the info, commented that my reference to San Diego had been the problem. Overall, this hotel was definitely average with a way to high cost.

Hyatt-Huntington Beach
By Jesse, 12/10/06
The Hotel was nice, but we enjoyed the Restaurants even more. The Californian (Restaurant) located in the Hotel Is one of Best Restaurants I have been too. The only down side to this Hotel, I felt was..... There was not an option to Self Park. Which meant, over night parking, and it was $21 per night. Not even the Wynn in Vegas charges you that. And the $9 per day fee for using or not using there Pool, Spa, Tennis courts, Gym. I can understand the fee if I used it. But just putting it on the bill just because was a little disturbing.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/06
this was the best vacation I have ever been on. It was awsome. I thout it was also the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so good I am coming back next summer, to go play around in the ocean. I loved boogie boarding , I couldn't believe how far the waves can push you.I also loved when my dad and I road our skateboards along the beach evrey night for dinner. But The best part that I liked about it was learning how to surf. And tht is a summery of my best vacation ever.

One of the Best Experiances We've Had
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/06
Great View, Great Service, and Impressive Cleanliness are just a few of many things we were treated to. The staff were very understanding and helpful with accomodating my wife (just after surgery) and I. We enjoyed a great view of the beach and the courtyard/pool area. I would recommend this 5 star hotel to anyone.
