Jameson Inn Shreveport, Shreveport

Awful I had a similar experience to a previous person with the shower. It was disgusting. It was slimy and when I went to wash my feet again in the sink the bottom of my feet were black from that short walk from the shower to the sink. There were also mouse droppings on the bathroom floor in the morning. The toilet in the public restroom was so hard water stained it appeared it had been neglected for quite some time. And there was a dog in the breakfast area during morning breakfast. But the big problem was the way the situation was handled. Everyone was on the defensive, housekeeping, the front desk, customer service, the general manager, even corporate management. The front desk person and the housekeeper both told me they had passed inspection two weeks prior like that made it OK, but no one offered to check out the room that day. It took a month and a half before I was ever contacted by the general manager, who was very defensive and not at all apologetic. I did contact the health department because I felt the property as well as corporate were not taking this issue seriously. But I made the mistake of telling customer service I was contacting the health department and I suspect they cleaned things up before the health department arrived because they passed that inspection also. My recommendation is to avoid not only the Shreveport property, but all Jamison Inns because I feel that they have no concern for customer health or safety, and the customer is always wrong.

The desk clerk was very rude and refused to put my wife's call through to my room. The room did not have a remote for the tv. The bathroom toiletries were not replaced (I did not receive clean towels, shampoo, or soap on the 2nd night). It was a very bad experience and will never stay at a Jameson again.

Will never go back to this one. The room was so smoky that we couldn't stay there. We ended up leaving and lost our money. It was also in a bad location.

We just happened to find this hotel after a night of gambling at the casino's and all of their rooms were booked. We were quite surprised when we entered our room to see how nice it was. The bed was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows!! Very clean and an excellant breakfast. Would definately stay there again!!

My husband and I loved this hotel, and we were reluctant to check out. We wished we had booked more nights. The room was absolutely immaculate. The continental breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choices...cereal, waffles (fresh from the waffle iron), assorted muffins, bagels, and pastries, and even biscuits and gravy. We were also travelling with a small dog, and found the hotel to be extremely pet friendly. The only thing that we would change is the interstate billboard on I20, coming from Dallas. The directions it gives for finding the hotel were wrong....very wrong. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel in february and my boyfriend had a heart attack there and the hotel and thier employes couldnt do enough for us even at our stay at the hospital they were there daily. thanks so much mairlyn and cotton
