We will not be coming back - thieves.

In September of 2008 my husband's job took us to Frederick, MD. We stayed at the Sleep Inn upon recommendation of co-workers and everything seemed great at first (although the weekly rate was a little higher than we wanted at $350 a week). We began noticing change missing which wasn't a big deal so we didn't complain. Around Christmas two presents I had wrapped were missing from our room and when I spoke with the desk they were unable to do anything and told me to talk to a manager. I did and she was very defensive about her housekeeping staff and couldn't offer me any solutions! Told me to call the police and she could fill out some insurance report if I wanted. I didn't bother since it obviously wasn't going to do any good.
I let it go but the service was getting bad, housekeeping never left any towels - there was something missing every day and the desk acted like it was a big hassle to bring me the items I needed. When more money went missing along with a set of earrings we finally had enough. Our apartment was ready a week ago and I wasn't going to look like a fool and stay there any longer.
We almost never made it to breakfast because the woman that ran it was EXTREMELY RUDE and never once did I see any kind of sanitization happening. The milk was bad the one time I tried to get some. I would only get breakfast on sundays when I knew th rude lady wasnt there. She made us feel very, very unwelcome.
The girls at the desk were great when we were there at first and then all but one stopped talking to me or my husband and I haven't seen that girl in weeks.
At one time we had to change rooms because they didn't reserve us one or something, and in the new room was a bug and seemed dirty.
I will never get back my christmas presents, earrings or money and not even the corporate office seemed to care. It's in a great location but if you would like to hang on to your belongings, don't stay here. My husband has told everyone at the job site about his theft issues and apparently he is one of many to have things stolen from the room.
