Nice Place

We got the upstairs room we asked for. Enjoyed the hot tub and lovely breakfast. The bed was comfortable - and we are very fussy - and the place, clean. The traffic noise bothered my husband since we were on the east end of the building. I didn't hear it!!! The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved watching the river flow by, a couple rafts and some divers! We will stay there again!!!

Location, Location, Location

The Location of the hotel and the price we were able to get was the greatest advantage of our stay. The hotel was a lot busy this stay then our last stay, I guess everyone found out the value of the location. The breakfast was average, hit and miss on the days we stayed. Beds were very uncomfortable. The Service wasn't as great as our last stay, we had to ask several times to remind the staff we needed extra towels, as we were traveling with a child, and they only leave 2 in the room. The staff members were not as well put together as our last stay; some front desk members were dressed sloppy and didn't seem as helpful when concerns were brought to their attention, as if we were bothering them.

we'll stay here again, when in the area

We liked the area because it was not really crowded or busy when trying to enter or leave the motel. We also thought the rooms were really nice and clean. When we needed help from the staff they were willing to help without delay. Also for the price, there were alot of options for recreation,(swimming, hot tub, exercise, and a lounge with free drinks on your first night.),just to tell a few. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Awesome home away from home

There is really nothing to dislike. The property is beautiful, staff friendly, and service impeccable. The breakfast is actually hot and served buffet style. I enjoyed relaxing at the evening reception, which featured snacks and two free drinks. The business center with the printers was extremely helpful. The staff was helpful with directions to local attractions and courtious every time I had a question. This hotel is definately child friendly and they welcomed my kids warmly. The housekeepers keep the rooms nice and clean and one even left my kids stickers! They really give the hotel a personal feel! I will be staying here every time I am in the Portland/ Oregon City area.

Nice accomodations

The breakfast and happy hour were nice, but not as good as Embassy Suites. We wished there would have been a door between the two bedrooms, but otherwise, the accomodations were nice. The pool is small, so for families that this is important, I would suggest staying somewhere else.

A great place for us!

The Executive Suite (with pocket doors) is perfect for our family. The two TVs and the VCR make it a good set-up. The staff is great. The breakfasts are wonderful, and the evening snacks make the stay quite wonderful!
