Budget Inn & Suites, Conroe

This hotel was not what it appeared to be. I booked a single room with 2 queen beds. When we got there were broken windows in the motel, trash everywhere, and broken locks on the door. The lobby was the only thing that looked "pristine". All double bed rooms have twin beds rather than queens. The bathroom was unpainted/unfinished. The first room we were placed in had a broken window (a hole about the size of a fist below the latch). The second room was better but the door chain was in pieces. It looked like someone had previously broken into the room. There was a new deadbolt lock next to the handle and sheets were clean so we decided to stay. I will never do that again.
