Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach/Oceanfront, Myrtle Beach

my husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. It was amazing! It is right on the beach, so we stayed in a beach front room. The balconey was great and a beautiful view! The pool area was very nice and the staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean and the housekeepers kept it that way. We would definitly stay at this hotel again.

Myrrtle Beach is fast becoming the Redneck Riviera. This hotel is very nice and I'll go back.

Was very impressed. The room and hotel were upscale. They have an on-site spa, I will stay again. Have not stayed on this end of the beach in 15 years, was totally impressed.

I contacted the hotel and asked if they accepted gift cards. After the front desk assuring me that a Visa gift card would be accepted as payment I purchased the card for my daughter as a birthday present. Upon checkout she was unable to use the Visa gift card for payment. I find it unacceptable to be lied to about such agreements. It was embarassing for my daughter. It gives all of hampton inns a black eye.

The hotel is always a pleasant suprise. This is the second time I've been there and I always love being a guest of Tom and the staff at Hampton Inn. They are always so gracious and accomodating when we are in town on business. The rooms are always very meticulously clean. The front desk staff are always warm and attentive. The cleaning staff are always very friendly, warm, and accomodating to the needs of their guests. I will be back and I recommend them to all my friends and family who are thinking about a trip there! One thing I like is that they are right in the middle of the beach. They serve great buffet breakfast to all the guests who want it. They also provide small items you might have left at home by mistake like a toothbrush or a comb. There are 9 pools now, 4 outside and 5 inside. There is the beach just a few feet out the backdoor. What else could you ask for!

First I'll start by saying that Myrtle Beach is a dump. Grubby, garbage strewn public space, and completely lacking in character. Whatever character the place had has been covered by concrete condo's and highways. But that's the place, not the hotel. Hotel was nice and clean, but my complaint is the way the room was furnished. I booked a room, not a suite, for 4 days. I stayed 1 and left for a nicer area. Room was very small and badly furnished. Didnt even have a desk big enough for a laptop. If your the type that works some when you travel, then look elseware or get a suite. That is if the suites are furnished better than the rooms.

First of all I have to say that I really like this hotel. It is very clean and updatyed. The decor is nice and the rooms are very spacious. My problem in the invasion of the pool. I can not tell you how many times outside people from other hotels would come to the pool. There are no locks on the gates. When I am paying $200 a night the last thing I want is someone that is paying $49 a night in another pool to invade our pool. I tolkd themanager. She said they have a problem with it and are working on it.

First time here on June 13th 2009, my husband and I walked in and was able to get us an oceanfront room for a reasonable rate. Staff are friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. We just loved the views from the balcony. The Hampton Inn & Suites on Myrtle Beach is a gem. We loved our stay and will come back here again!

This Hampton lives up to the guarentee of satisfaction. We stayed 6 nights and had a good time. The pools are fantastic (5 total) and the rooms are super clean. It was great having an ocean facing room with a balcony big enough to relax on. It was nice to have the breakfast right at the hotel so we could hit the beach early. I will be going to Hampton when I visit Myrtle Beach!

This was my 4th stay at this Hampton Inn and suites and it was fantastic as always! They must remodel yearly because the place is always clean and fresh! Stayed at Crown Reef last year and it was shabby and dirty! The staff is helpful altho check in took longer than expected.....room wasn't ready at 3 pm check in time. It's rather pricey, but well worth the extra$$ on safety and cleanliness. Will be back next year!
