A good place to stay
By ,
This hotel was perfect for a recent trip to Dublin. It was centrally located and close to all public transport links. Bus, Rail and Luas. The food was top class. Breakfast was included in the price. Which made a reasonably priced hotel a bargain. Lunch was second to none and very keenly priced. The room was also very good. All in all one I would recommend to friends and I'll return myself too.

value for money
By ,
Its location is excellent, 3 minutes' walk from the DART station and O'Connell street. The main bus station of the city is just 1 minutes' leisurely walk away. The room, toilet and bathroom is clean, the bedsheets smell fresh and there is a TV, a kettle, free coffee powder and an iron. For 40 pounds a night ( i stayed for 3 nights, qualifying for a cheaper rate), i don't think one can find anything better. Definitely using the same hotel if I ever go back to Dublin. For those looking for great food in a hotel, i say just go elsewhere. This hotel is great for anyone looking for a convenient, cheap and clean place.

Excellent value in middle Dublin
By ,
Very conviently located hotel offering excellent rates for comfortable surroundings. Very friendly helpful staff. Only little complaint was car park trying to gain acess. Drove around twice to find entrance gate only to be told when we rang hotel to pull up at gate and it would be opened for us. You'd feel your holding up the whole city by pulling up the first time. Should inform guests fo this before they arrive. Staff in charge of gate are very efficient in opening it.

Rude staff ruined it for me
By ,
Apart from the very nice Irish lady who check us in, I found most of the other staff rather rude & unhelpfull, particularly those in the bar who seemed more interested in sitting around with friends chatting & watching TV than serving customers. Also found it strange that at 1230am a guest can not order a drink at a weekend. Overall the hotel was very old & in need of updating & repairs. There was a hole in the wall in my room! It is also quite a distance from the main tourist spots. The food was nice in the resturant in the evening & value for money

great hotel
By ,
just come back after spending two nights in this hotel.Iwould recommend this hotel the bedrooms were large no need to do your ironing befor you leave because you have an ironing board and iron in the room if needed. The breakfast was very good a very good selection enough to fill you up for the day and we had our evening meal at night which was good value for money. The staff were very friendly and if we ever go back to dublin we would book this hotel again.

Perfect!
By ,
I regularly stay on business in Dublin and always choose to stay at The Ripley Court. From the moment I arrive a warm welcome awaits. Grainne and her front of house team are superb! The rooms are spacious, airy and very clean. The hotel is extremely comfortable. The food is excellent and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Great Time at The Ripley Court
By ,
This is a gem of a hotel. Great location, Clean comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant and we found that the bar was wonderful with great atmosphere. The staff and Management were really welcoming and friendly - we stayed for 4 days and felt like part of the family by the time we were leaving. We brought a car with us and used the parking facilities at the hotel. There was a charge of 7 per night. I found this to be good value for money. Like every major city parking is next to impossible to find and it was a small price to pay for peace of mind that our hire car was safe. Contrary to a previous post, the car park charge was clearly displayed. We had to register our car at the security desk and the charge was noted on the register. Again, the parking charge was noted on our check in cards at Reception and finally, it was displayed on our in room information book. No hidden charges then... I really enjoyed our stay and have rebooked to return in May. I can't wait!

Hidden Charges
By ,
The Hotel quote a rate, but they do not advise of the extra charge for parking or the exorbitant rates for phone use. Yes they are centrally located, but the bar is for residents only and is like a morgue. The manager, was arrogant and abrupt when questioned on extra charges. I certainly will not return.

Wonderful Hotel
By ,
This is a gem of a hotel. It's centrally located, so it's ideal for shopping sprees, nightlife (without being too noisey) & sightseeing and close to the train, bus and tram stations - ideal if you want to spend a day or two travelling further afield. The hotel itself is clean, modern and friendly. The rooms are airy and spacious, equipped with everything you would expect in a 3 star. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. Add to this a very friendly and cheerful staff and you have everything you need. I highly recommend this hotel and cant wait to return.
