Poor entertainment staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/6/11
I had a horrible experience with one of the entertainment staff. I found them to be extreamly unprofessional , out right rude and vulgar. The hotel was not accommidating with complaints and/or concerns. I would not recommend this resort not only because of the unprofessional demeanor of the entertainment staff but also the lack of care taken to the beaches.. The beaches were sea weed covered on a daily basis, yet the resorts just next door were groomed beautifly. I was disapointed with the treatment and the way the entertainment staff treated guests.

Wonderful memories
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/09
We have traveled to all the islands and i must say this was by far the best experience we had. all the staff were friendly and willing to go the extra mile if needed. We knew we were in the right place when we were greated with a frindly welcome and was told if there was anything we needed to let the resort. know and they would do the best to see we would get it. There were some out of the ordinary things i needed and the front desk made sure i was acomadated. I would recommend Natural Park to all my friends.

Can't get back to Natura fast enough!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/29/09
We absolutely loved Natura Park it was beautiful and very relaxing! We have been fortunate to be able to travel to many destinations Punta Cana was definetely one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Natura Park was not a 5 star resort but it was beautiful and the food was really better than "just good". I absolutely loved the grounds and the way they looked. We were there in Dec of 08 and I am planning our 09 trip right now. To all who are questioning about Natura...GO!! I have been to 5 star resorts and Natura may not have all the eminities that they have, but they are real close. If your going to spend time in the room all day and night you may not want to go to this park...but if your looking for good food , good service and great views go and enjoy!!

Three Star Prices......5 Star Vacation!!!!!
By Angela, 1/26/09
My boyfriend and I went to this resort during the 4th of July week. We had the best time ever. When we first got there and got to the room we headed right back to the desk to tell them we were suposed to have a sea view room not a garden view room. They changed our room to one closer to the beach but it still didn't have the view later when we met with the Apple Vacation rep we told her the situation and the next morning we received the most amazing room!!! When we walked in we both said "Score". It was huge with a walk in closet, 2 sinks, and king size bed....not to mention our view was so amazing and we could walk off our patio right onto the beach!!! Our room was cleaned everyday and we even got fruit plattors for free. The food and service were excellant and as long as you tip the first couple of days you get treated like roylaty! The beach was amazing and not nearly as crowded as the other resorts down the beach. The drinks were so tasty too! They even made a special one for the forth of july. I recommend going on the safari, you get to see more of punta can learn about the people who live there and you go to the most amazing beach I have ever been too!!! We boogy boarded for 2 hours and didn't want to leave. All in all I would stay here again, it was the best vacation we have ever been on!!! Oh, and book through Apple Vacations, they take care of you!!

Great vacations but not the best place to be...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/10/08
The resort is wonderful, with magnificent gardens and exotic birds. My kids loved it!!! Very spacious and relaxing. The rooms are nice and clean; although we had our pillows changed the first night cause they smelled like humidity... The food was good, a wide variety of dishes, some better than others. For dinner chose to make reservations at the A l' carte restaurants, food is much better there. We were very dissapointed when after check-out, they sent us to a "courtesy room" which is like a dressing room with showers and towels that you can use until your bus arrives to take you to the airport. It was really dirty, wet floors, hair in the showers, dirty towels, bottles of empty soap and shampoo everywhere.. It was horrible! Unfortunately that was our farewell at the Natura Park. An advice; for souvenirs go to a local market, 15 min. walking distance from the hotel. The shop at the hotel and the shopping mall are a rip off!!

WOW - Would go back anytime
By Benoit, 3/10/08
WOW... My wife and I have just returned from Blau Natura Park in Punta Cana and had a great time. We arrived on Feb 28 and left Mar 6. You will read many reviews on this website and others regarding Natura Park. I had rwead some reviews that were not so favorable but we decided to try it anyway. We sare very glad we have. Location It is located right on the beach. The beach is very beautiful with other resorts on the right and absolutely nothing on the left. There is a fair amount of sea weeds that wash ashore and employees are doing their best to remove it. It natural, its not garbage so it did not bother that much. The rooms are located in numerous 2-3 storey buildings that are throughout the grounds and linked by path and bridges that cross water features that are well stoked with fishes. There arw even boxes with bread in them to feed the fishes which is a nice touch. There are also numerous birds such as ducks, geeses, pink flamingo, etc. Room The room we had was OK but not spectacular. It was very clean, the air conditioning unit worked awesome and it was refurbished daily. No complaints at all with the room and no issues to report either. Pool The pool is nice and not too big. It perfectly fine with us since the ocean is only a few steps away. There is a swim up bar but in our opinion, it closes too early at around 5:30pm. Chairs There are lots of chairs but if you want a good spot and chairs with shades, you need to be there before 8:30am. Food You will read in other reviews that the food is not the bestn blah, blah, blah... If you can't find food you like, there is something wrong... Lots of choices although a little repeateous. We defibately did not go hungry. The three A la Carte restaurants offered excellent meals. La Perla (seafood) was excellent but the service was very poor. Our reservation was for 8:15pm. The steakhouse offered very ggod food as well and the service was fast, a little too fast in fact but keep in mind that our reservation was for 9:15pm. The service at La Gondola was Great and the best of the three and the meal was also excellent. People People are very friendly and always willing to help especially when you treat them with respect and treat them with a smile as well... Would we go back? Absolutely. Would we recommend this resort to our friends? Absolutely.

Dissapointed
By Nicky O, 1/8/08
When we arrived, it seemed like we would have the best time ever. Once we got to our room we realized it would be a nightmare. We went to wash our hands and realized there was NO WATER. In fact, there was no water for 3 hours. You can imagine how unpleasant that was. We went to have lunch and were very dissapointed with the food. We tried all the restaurants but the food in each of them were basically the same. As far as the alcoholic drinks...they had no idea what they were doing! VERY DISSAPOINTED!!! Oh, can't forget the fact that there was no ice most of the time. As far as our bedroom was concerned, there were small bugs by the bed and by the wall. Not sure really what they were but they did manage to bite my husband and I. The beach was nice and yes LOTS of seaweed. If you want beach chairs...get there EARLY because they go quick. Really, this place is not worth your money.

Happy mostly- a few irritations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/5/07
Natura park overall is a beautiful place to stay. The layout and landscaping is gorgeous, very large, spacious place. Staff is more fluent in French, german and spanish than english. We had to chase staff around for 3 days before we could get to someone that understood what we were asking. Food was mostly bad, left out for long periods of a time, meat used in 3 different dishes over 3 day span... A la cartes ran out of dishes, no caneloni or lasagna, vegetarians forced to eat meat. Otherwise, staff is friendly, outgoing, and always willing to have you participate. Shows were good, very interactive, and quite funny. Day activities were fun, when it rained they had many games to keep us occupied. Bar staff was great, Hypolito who mainly works in the circle bar in the lobby is great, as well as Oscar, a waiter there. Felix of the entertainment staff is phenominal. Overall was very happy with stay, until the last day when we discovered roaches in our bathroom.
