Treated Like A Princess
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/09
I was treated so well at this Hilton. Every time I went down to the lobby, the staff remembered my name and asked if everything was going well without me saying anything. VERY ATTENTIVE and Friendly! The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in while traveling and I am very picky. The food was really tasty and priced well for room service. Overall a fantastic experience! I said I would be back to this hotel if I was coming into town again and will be staying this upcoming weekend for the Philadelphia Buyer's Market. How convenient that your hotel is right across from the Convention Center! I've brought my friends this weekend as well! So your excellent service just booked you two rooms this time!

Won't be back
By Sherry, 06/29/09
Really disappointed. The room was nothing like the picture, no Jr. Suite, no shuttle service, main door under a very dark tunnel, hot tub didn't work. Other hotels in better areas, nicer. Won't be back to this one

Great Location and Great Staff
By Annette, 08/30/07
I had a wonderful weeks stay, while attending a conference at the Philadelphia Convention Center. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and at home; the staff treats you like one of the family. The 10th Floor Grill (In-House) restaurant has great sandwiches and some real good BBQ ribs. The bartender makes a wonderful Tequila Sunrise also. The Junior Suites come with 2 double bed, sleep sofa, 2 flat screen TV's, microwave, and refridgerator. It's conveniently across the street from the Reading Terminal Market and the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Never went
By Ali, 02/09/07
As I told the yahoo agent I spoke to, I had to cancel my trip because I had 102 fever. He tried to tell me that I wouldn't get a refund, but I will, don't worry about that. I am completely dissatisfied with Yahoo and will never book another trip with you again!

Great Staff - can't complain
By Erin, 12/18/06
Located in the heart of Center City, the Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay. The rates are right and the quality is up to par. PROS: -Staff was so nice and helpful! They answered all of our questions with personable recommendations on places to eat, and tips for traveling. -Bed was soooo comfortable (Garden Sleep System) -Clean and comfortable -Wireless and wired internet for FREE -Restaurant within hotel, open for Breakfast and Dinner -We were able to check in early and check out late -Microwave and refrigerator in the rooms (great for leftovers you don't want to throw away) -Great location (located directly across from Convention Center, walking distance to several attractions, right next to Reading Terminal Market and subways) CONS: -Parking was $21 a night, I think that should be included (but they do give you a pass to go in and out of the garage without extra charges). -Go out the hotel at the Arch Street entrance to the left and it's a little seedy, I suggest exiting to the right on Arch St. and passing through Reading Terminal Market -The rooms aren't very noise proof, we did hear some noise from the hallway as we were on the same floor as the restaurant and salons (not hair salons, more like small banquet rooms).

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/06
The location was great, near the convention center. Friendly staff that were really helpful with any questions. The restaurant was reasonably priced also. I Would stay there again without a doubt.

Good location but average hotel
By Gary, 04/08/06
Likes: Located near train station, and many of the tourist spots. Business office with 24hr access to the internet. Dislikes:Front desk service was subpar. They didn't even tell me what room number I was, he just handed me the key and said here you go. Also during our 5 day stay or room key did not work on 3 occassions. Had to go down to the front desk to get new keys. Very inconvenient.

Great location
By Jen, 09/04/05
We found the Hilton Garden Inn for an online rate of close to $100. We thought this was a great deal for the location of the hotel. The room wasnt glamorous, but it was simple and clean. There was a restaurant in the hotel where we grabbed a bottle of wine and brought it back to our room. The hotel was walking distance to Maggiano's, our favorite restaurant, a market, Chinatown, the historic district, and tons of other restaraunts. I'd definitely go back, because I love walking everywhere, and not paying an arm and a leg to stay in Philly.
