Never again--Avoid MORON Hotel & Suites!!!

When we first pulled into the parking lot I was pleased with the location: a UPS store/copy center, a bar and grill, and two banks in the same building; grocery next door, plus a sushi restaurant across the street. After that I was not impressed.
Our first night there, the hotel had two weddings and wedding guests were making noise late into the night. I didn't complain bc there was no way to call the front desk without disturbing my family.
The following night (a Sunday) there was another wedding and the guests were loud and obnoxious by 10:30 PM. The worst offenders happened to be staying next door to me and were banging on the adjoining door and trying to turn the knob to get into MY room. I called the front desk to complain. Our neighbors settled down until around midnight.
By then they were shouting in the hallways, slamming doors and acting as if they had never stayed in a hotel before.
I called eight times in six hours (the loud behaviour was on and off during that time.) The idiot night manager kept telling me there was nothing she could do--she had asked them to be quiet. I pointed out that the hotel makes its guests sign a good conduct policy (so you can be fined/ejected if you disturb other guests.) What's the point of a policy if the hotel won't enforce it? And, by the way, you can always call the police to get rid of unruly guests. ( I couldn't bc my room phone wasn't working!)
It got to the point where I had to threaten the night manager--several times. She finally agreed to call the police. I called back a few minutes later to make sure that she followed through this time. A few minutes later the cops showed up and we finally got some sleep. I wound up missing my morning appointment with my biggest corporate client bc my family needed to sleep in.
FYI--if something like that happens when you stay at Moron Hotel, do what I did: tell the front desk that you're not paying to be kept up all night. They were supposed to provide me with a quiet, safe place to stay for the night. Since I didn't get that, I made them take the charges off of my bill when I checked out the next morning.
We ended up at the Danbury Plaza which was a very nice place to stay.
