Won't Stay Here Again
A couple of dissadvantages I would like to share. We were in town for a wedding and traveling from Lancaster, PA. Check in wasn't until 3:00PM which was fine however I did confirm with the front desk service prior to arriving that our rooms would be ready and an early check in would be available. Mind you we had to be at the wedding at 3:00 so we arrived around 12:30 so we could get dressed and have plenty of time to get ready. When we arrived the women at the front desk which couldn't of been more than 18 yrs old told us sorry no rooms are ready we had all rooms sold out, this may have been but the place was a ghost town if you ask me. Her name was Kari by the way and didn't even look at the computer, check with a maid service, just a blank stare and sorry. We ended up changing in the parking lot and the restroom ouside the lobby. I even asked if there was an iron I could borrow and without even trying or checking, no sorry there's no spare irons available. I understand if the rooms were all being cleaned and no iron available but at least check and don't look so incomepent.Ok next the continental breakfast consisted of bagels, toast, bottled water, and coffie. That's not too bad however, to make things a little worse there was no condiments for the bagels or toast, not even butter or jelly or cream cheese! Last but not least, both my wife and I woke up with bed bug bites assuming from the bed we slept in.
I think this place is changing hands so hopfully this place will turn around. I believe there's many other small mom & pop hotels in the area which I'm sure are nice due to the area being a tourist attraction.
