What a Night!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/10
I loved everything about this hotel. From the over friendly staff to probably the nicest manager you could ever meet this hotel went above and beyond the call of duty. My husband and I had just gotten off of I-95 and just wanted to stop...we saw exit 145A and said "Let's go for it!!" So we did and when we walked in the door the decor made us feel relaxed and welcome but the young lady at the desk was even better. Not only did she check us in at record speed but she also even volunteered to give us recommendations on a place for dinner. After directing us to our room, we went up and to our surpise she had placed us in a beautiful room...not average but very nice for the price that we paid!! After relaxing for a few minutes, we went back down to ask for directions some local attractions like the mall just to be able to get out and walk around and boy was she helpful. She had directions ready and even told us about the beautiful Ediso Gardens there in town, that had a beautiful Christmas lighting display. After arriving back to the hotel after dinner and the brief walk through the gardens, we were tired but found ourselves standing there talking to the young lady about her future plans for Graduate School. When my husband and I told her about having to leave earlier than the start of breakfast, she comforted us by informing us that the front desk staff would be happy to fix breakfast a few minutes early for us to have a hearty breakfast before leaving!! I must admit, I have never been to a place that was SO welcoming...from the check-in to the check-out!! My husband and I joked once back on the road that if we didn't have to leave, we could have stayed a few more days!! I can't wait to see them all again in a few more months!! A+ Hotel, A+ Service, Great Place to Stay!!

Southern Hospitality!!!
By Mary, 3/18/09
The hotel room was clean and comfortable but it was the staff that made it so nice! Everyone was so friendly. Now we understand the term "Southern Hospitality". We'll be back!

"Wow"
By Mary, 8/29/08
We enjoyed our stay so much! The staff at this hotel is awesome! They treated us like family. The room was clean and comfortable, they had a microwave and fridge in the room also. Everyone was so nice that we found ourselves standing at the front desk chatting on several occasions. If you have to travel alot like we do, this is a great place to stay. They work hard to make it feel like a home and not a hotel. Very NIce

I LOVED IT!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/08
Pros: Friendly front desk workers, housekeepers, and manager, free internet, nice breakfast, seasonal pool, microwave/fridge/coffee maker in rooms, nice location by interstate and restaurants Cons: I wish the town had more entertainment other than shopping and eating, but I'll deal with it. I absolutely loved everything from my reservation to my check-out I couldn't have been more pleased. When I checked in I expected the room to be small with bad decor but I was wrong-it was very nice and might I add, their pillows are great-I actually bought two for home!! The room set up was fairly spacious to have two beds and the staff made sure to address any problems that we had quickly and pleasantly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the Orangeburg area--I plan on coming back many more times.

Not bad
By Jereny, 6/29/06
Front desk was very helpful, the room was about average, with the exception of my pillows. They BOTH had long black hairs on them, it looked as if they didn't change the pillow cases....other than that, it was an average stay. Not great, but conveniant.

Adequate value
By Marilyn, 6/27/05
On the minus side, the rooms and especially the bathrooms are TINY and the bed wasn't very comfortable. TOn the other hand, the room and lobby were clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was better than most "continental" breakfasts.
