Horrible-room smelled like an ash tray

Given smoking room after booking (well in advance) a non-smoking room with no other options. This non smoker, business travler and long time hilton honors member was not happy after multiple complaints hotel refused to book me in another hotel-all others is area "sold out"-on a Tuesday night? yea right hotel staff indifferent and not customer friendly

We'll be back

Our stay was wonderful. The suite was clean, comfortable and everything was in good working order. We parked in the garage and either walked or rode the bus everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was good except for the hill from Country Club Plaza up to the Inn. The going down was fine it was the returning after a long day that was a challenge to our old out of shape bodies.

Nice Place to Stay

I really like this hotel. I have stayed here multiple times. Plenty to do around The Plaza...the hill can be challenging when coming in late

Is there a YMCA with a pool near by

This was my second time staying at this property. I was in town for a convention and this hotel was the convention headquarters. I checked in on Thursday for a couple days r-n-r before the convention. The pool had a sign closed for maintenance when I arrived. I never got to use as the sign finally came down on Sunday about 10:30. Check out was at 11:00. Each day when I asked, the front desk said Pool Maintenance was expected and should be ready in a couple of hours. The work out facility was basic but would have been fine had it been clean. Maintenance hadn't spent any time wiping it down. Some how had oily handles. Felt much better after washing post workout. Also as noted on a previous posting, those are the loadest toilets I've ever heard.

Very dissappointed

We thought our room looked nice, but discovered the bathroom sink would barely drain, and the toilet handle had to be held down to flush...even then made an incredibly loud noise. We could hear other toilets flushing from adjacent rooms! We were charged for 2 movies, which were taken off our bill later that we never selected..the remote had low batteries, and the noise from drunk people woke us at 4:30 AM. We paid 129.00 for the room, and it was not worth it. When the bathtub drained, it made a loud popping noise that went on forever. Some contractor must have hosed them on the plumbing.

Honeymoon Heaven

We stayed at the Hampton for our honeymoon in their honeymoon suite the suite was like a beautiful apartment instead of a hotel and the bathtub spa in the huge bathroom was amazing!!!! We loved the large shower and the view was so georgous of the city, we can't wait to go back!!!
