The Hawthorne was an awesome hotel to stay at. It is conveniently located directly down the road from the International Horse Park where we attend the NBHA State Finals each year in October. I will always stay at the Hawthorne Inn & Suites.

A Great Choice

The hotel and room were lovely. The breakfast was good-the staff were very accomodating. The only negative thing was that the sheets were too small for the bed and by mornomg the sheets and matress pad were in a ball in the middel of the bed. not so complimentary

The so-called "complimentary mon thru thurs reception to provide your evening meal" isn't so complimentary! After eating, of course, we were asked to see our tickets?! We were expected to pay for the poor excuse of a meal. The "spa" has no water, just gravel. The pool isn't clean - the wasp nests and the swarms alone are enough to make you stay away. Not to mention people walking into your room at all hours with no aplogies, in fact, I couldn't even catch one of them to even see what they wanted...it made me wander WHAT they wanted.
