Nickelodeon Suites Resort, Orlando

Overpriced, bad service, outdated rooms that need maintenance and remodeling. Don't waste money at this place. My family enjoyed some of the extra activities and these are included in the resort fee.

Really bad service for a lot of money! 2 hours just to check in, the room echoed like a gym full of kids wanting to go have fun. It just is a tourist clip joint don't your money here, there is other hotels with water parks.

I loved the 3 bedroom suite, very spacious and fun. The pool and surrounding area were absolutely disgusting. Lots of hair and bandaids in the water and so many people and nowhere for them to spread out we were literally shoulder to shoulder. Pool bathroom was so dirty it gives me chills just thinking of it.

Ok...here goes... back in October of 2011 I decided to go against the negative reviews and book a room here. We live in Florida (son age 11 and daughter age 6) so we were offered the 99$ Florida Resident Special. First let me say that I think this is a pretty good deal considering the normal price of a room. Bottom line was the staff was polite, the room was very clean and conveniently located to the pool, (we opted out of the character decor room) The overall pool experience was perfect. The water was slightly cooler then normal where the slides are located but it was October. The transportation to the theme parks was great. The food located in the food court was ok but it's a food court so I woud not have expected anything more. We utilized the arcade in the mall and it was fun. Usually I go by reviews to play a deciding factor where we stay however this time I am glad I decided to go with my instinct and stay the weekend here despite some of the reviews I had read.

This place is just old, worn out and tired. Its smelled...old. The room was technically clean..but it was just so tatty and worn everyplace it gives the impression of being filthy. But when some things get so worn out...cleaning it doesnt really help the matter all that much. Its just an old Holiday Inn hotel so the bedrooms have no windows and no doors and its just in desperate need of a refurbishment. Dont get me wrong...the kids LOVED the pool and the "mall" and arcades and the shows..but they dont pay the bills.. I do. And I wasnt as impressed. The pools were way to crowded. Big kids I swear were old enough to drive just pushing and knocking other kids down. Locals who have day passes while their kids run wild like its a giant day care center just for them. I met some seriously rude local women who practically camp out all day long poolside like they own the place. Prices too high and food just average. The shows were good..but do they really need to be so pricey? Thou the kids loved it we wont be back.

was so excited to take our 9 yr old daughter for the first time on Oct 14-16-11.what you see on the website is not like what your going to see in person the suites small like it's been closed up for one year foul smell we did not sleep friday night because the ceiling fun motor was so loud hot and stuffy in the room. Saturday night the smoke detecor went all night complained to the front desk all they said was they were sorry. this place is overrated and very expensive would not take a dog there all you see is maintance repairing and fixing all day long. the slide in the oasis building is closed for a Christmas show which they don't tell you . the new name it should be is nickdisappointment resort for kids

We just got here about 4 hours ago. The room in our nick hotel is wet. I understand the water park is right outside but the rooms should not smell wet and the couch you sit on be damp. In fact I am sitting on a towel as I type this so my butt does not get damp. What a joke. It smells wet and the couch smells. The carpet also is damp in areas... and mind you we have not gone to the water park yet. For the price the room should be clean, smell nice and be dry. Not impressed especially what we paid for this hotel. The room has no personality, not a sponge bob sticker or different paint on the wall. Boring. The kids room has a bunk bed and a TV. wow... how creative. The TV has poor reception... Believe the reviews, Don't waste your money...stay elsewhere and enjoy.

We just returned from a very expensive visit to the nick hotel $1300. The $25 daily resort fee is ridiculous. This was added to our $200 nightly room fee. Then we had to pay additional for the 20 minute 3D movies. Their souvenir cup costs twice as much as the one you can get at the park . Our room had mold mushroom in the bathroom. It was disgusting. Bathroom fan was NOT working. The hotel is run down and NEEDS renovating. VERY VERY dirty. VERY Poor service as well. The complimentary shuttle is also a joke. VERY limited departure and return times for Disney and Universal. NO shuttle to downtown disney or outlets. Taking a taxi just adds more expense. Horrible and expensive breakfast and dinner buffet. They will charge $5 ea. if you forget to return one of your cheap pool towel.... Come on!! I heard two other families complaining while I waited to speak with the manager about my mold problem. People need to read these reviews and stay elsewhere.

Likes: Friendly Staff ( with the exception of the sullen girl who made my coffee drink in the mall; she suddenly became friendly when her boss showed up) Lots of Activities- water slides, character meet and greets, Ect Themed Rooms- fridge and microwave made things a little more affordable; just go to the nearby Publix and stock up to avoid outrageous hotel food prices. Now, unfortunately the bad... $25 per night resort fee.. When we asked what, exactly, this fee covered, we heard a couple of "Uhhhh"s.... Room was clean but kind of smelly. Parts of the hotel definitely had a grungy feel to it. The water parks, if you can call them that, looked kind of rusty and every time I got in the elevator I would say a little prayer because I just KNEW it was going to stop. Every time I swipe my debit card, I get notified via text message on my cell. I made a 29.97 purchase at UNO pizza, but when the text message popped up, something like $37 had been taken out of my account. Same thing happened with the $6 coffee. When the transactions "officially" went though, the Prices were right, but my question is, why were the charges there to begin with? I wouldn't give a pizza server in a REAL mall a tip, so I don't buy that gratuity crap. If you're Paying with debit/credit card watch your balances.. Bottom line: The hotel is ok, but cracks (and smells) are starting to show All inclusive: if you have the dough, whatever you need is pretty much available

Anyone know the GM's information? We just got back from this hotel yesterday and it was the WORST hotel experience of my life.
