Welcome Hotel, Milledgeville

When I arrived, there were about 20 teenage girls running around. It seems there were two sporting events occuring. The front desk phone rang the whole time I was trying to check in because people were trying to find a hotel with empty rooms. The desk clerk was very curteous to the callers and to me. He tried to take care of all of our needs. Due to all that was going on, he did not inform me about anything specific (breakfast time/location, vending locations, where to park, etc.). This was fine, as they always have the information printed somewhere in the room. The breakfast was very nice, as there was alot of choices. There were plenty of cereal, fruit, breads, and gravy biscuits, and drinks. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. I had many extra pillows and used them all. The bathroom area was very nice. It had the circular shower curtain holder which made the shower feel very large. My only complaint is that the other guest allowed their doors to slam shut and that created a very very loud thud for everyone in that area.
