DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL
By RB, 12/30/09
We checked in on Christmas day to stay 2 night. Rooms looked clean, but to our suprise when we were ready for bed that night. We turn our beds down and were we surprise what we found. SHEETS HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED FROM LAST PERSON IN THE ROOM!! Bother of the bed were soiled sheets. When we called the front desk all the clerk could say was she was the only one there and all she could do was move us to another room. We left and got a refund and found a clean motel which was the Hoilday Inn Express. You pay for what you get

NEVER AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
Stayed in the Calhoun GA Jameson Inn. LOUD, BRIGHT AND NOT THE PLACE TO STAY IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP! RESTURANT NEXT DOOR HAS TRASH PICK UP BETWEEN 5 AM & 6:30 AM AND IT IS HORRIBLY SCARY LOUD AT THIS HOUR! CONSTANT NOISE ALL NIGHT LONG! WE COULD HEAR GUESTS UP STAIRS AND NEXT DOOR SIMPLY TALKING. I DO NOT USUALLY COMPLAIN, BUT THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE I WOULDN'T WANT ANY ONE TO HAVE TO ENCOUNTER. THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE STAYING AT A JAMESON INN, AND FOR $70 + DOLLARS... I WILL NEVER EVER STAY AT ANOTHER JAMESON INN REGARDLES OF THE CITY OR STATE. FOR A GOOD NIGHTS REST AND PRICE, FIND A MICRO TEL! SINCERELY, VERY TIRED GUEST!

Great Place to Stay
By , 06/09/06
I stayed here on business recently. The rooms were very clean and nice and well-kept. The desk personnel were very nice. I didn't use it , but they have an indoor pool. Very convenient location. WalMart is just a few doors down. There is a convenience store that is just at the edge of the parking lot for those late-night snacks & forgotten items. The high-speed internet works very well. Every bit as nice as the Country Inn (next door and also very nice) but not as expensive. The continental breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, but that seems to be the case at most places these days. Not BAD , just not good. Still a very good place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The best deal in Rome, GA
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/06
If you've ever had to try to find a place to stay that is close to Berry College, you will quickly realize that there aren't a lot of hotels and there certainly aren't a lot of affordable options. The Jameson Inn is a fresh breath of air for someone trying to get the most for their money. We stumbled upon the Inn after making reservations at another similarly priced establishment closer to the campus that we found to be unbearable for even the short trip we were making. In a panic, we began trying to find some place else to stay that we could afford but that wasn't infested with bugs and smelled funny. Someone suggested the Jameson to us. Though it is not as close to campus as other hotels, it is much newer and much nicer. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean. They even allow pets! The breakfast was hot and fresh. The rooms were well stocked with clean towels, coffee makers, even little shoe wipes. The main disadvantage I see with this hotel is that you have to drive to shop or eat since it is not as close to the center of town. We also had a problem with the staff overcharging us. (We had multiple rooms because our team was coming in town for an athletic event. They ran the credit card for one of the rooms twice so we were double charged for that room by accident.) When the girl received her statement and realized the overcharge, the hotel promptly refunded her money and apologized. So, in spite of the overcharge, I still feel the Jameson is a great place to stay.

Berry Mountain Day stay
By DAH, 10/03/05
Found out quite late in the game that Berry's Mountain Day festivities creates a shortage of hotel accommodations, I was able to secure a room at this hotel. I dealt with the local front desk staff for my reservation and he was very pleasant and professional. He even asked if I was coming for Mountain Day and offered the special Berry rate for this occasion. Never having stayed at a Jameson Inn before I was unsure what to expect. As you may well know from previous experience, pictures posted on the internet of the hotels are quite often very different to the real thing. In this case the pics were just like the hotel so no surprises. The room, a king non-smoking, was a decent size for a hotel of this class and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The breakfast was good and offered a variety of items, not just bread and coffee. Sausage gravy biscuits, belgian waffles you make yourself, cereals, bagels, and muffins. On the downside this hotel (along with several others closeby) is not near any restaurants or anything else for that matter so driving to dinner is a must. Overall I enjoyed this hotel and will look here first for the next Mountain Day at Berry.
