NIce place!

I was disappointed there were no rooms available at the other hotels in town, and was skeptical about staying here, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very hospitable and eager to help. The room was spotless, and the bed was super-comfortable.(They even had extra pillows on the bed, which was a plus for me!)

Stop here for a nights stay

Wife and I stopped here for a nights stay on our way to Myrtle Beach. The Service was great with a clean room. Had a nice breakfast here in the morning also.

Inhospitable

The hotel USED to be a favorite gathering point for myself and several of our racing colleagues one weekend a month from March through October. A management change this summer brought with it an attitude that is anything BUT warm and welcoming. I'd suggest that anyone who wants anything from their hotels but a bed & shower look for someplace other than the Jameson Inn of Laurinburg, NC.

Poor management

Having stayed at this motel several times over the last couple of years I have normally received accpetable treatement. However, a recent visit resulted in insensitive behavior by the new manager. The manager expressed no wishes to understand the situation and behaved in a heavy handed manner by calling the police. The police upon arriving stated that there was no need to call them as no one was behaving in a manner which would require their presence.

Too bad

After a management change, the service went from great to rotten. I stayed there several times, over several years, as have friends, and will not be going back. Neither will my freinds. Too bad. Their loss, competitions gain.
