Lodge at Old Edwards Inn, Highlands

Kelsey and Hutchinson Lodge, Highlands, NC This hotel started out as Lee’s Inn, a wonderful charming place in the mountains with the main hotel surrounded by “cabins”. Later the, main hotel burned down but the cabins remained. A complete overhaul turned it into the Kelsey and Hutchinson Lodge, still a charming place to stay. But Beware! They are now owned by rival Old Edwards Inn and seem to have some questionable policies. My wife made reservations for a family get together 4 months in advance but had to cancel the next day. Her credit card was charged for the full amount then refunded less $50 per room! ( 50x4=200) cancelation fee! So yes, they have billed $200 for nothing!
