The Westin Portland, Portland

I'm planning my fourth business trip to Portland in the last 12 months next week and I wouldn't think of staying anyplace else. Great hotel with an outstanding staff. The rooms are very, very comfortable with wonderful beds. This hotel is close to great restrauants and within walking distance to some wonderful pubs. See you next week!

I love Portland and would hightly recommend staying in this hotel mainly for its location. Parking can be expensive if you have a car, but in Portland you can do without it anyway. Conceirge was very friendly and helped us a lot.

The hotel is in a great location downtown. It is within the free zone for Tri-Met and Max (bus and light rail). Don't be afraid to take Portland's free transit system--no need to rent a car if you're doing business or sightseeing downtown. I'm not a "public transit" person, but I will make an exception here. The routes are easy to figure out, they run frequently (every few minutes), they are clean, and they're free--what more could you want? The hotel itself is fantastic. The front lobby is small, and almost seems like a boutique hotel. The doorman is friendly and opens the door for you coming in or out. The rooms are super clean and modern, and the Westin Heavenly Bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The showers are nice as well, with dual showerheads and a large glass-enclosed shower area. The rooms also have a mini-bar with the usual assortment of snacks and drinks. The room service menu is somewhat limited, but is very good. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I absolutely recommend this hotel, and I will stay here again. My one gripe is charging 10 bucks for the internet. Come on guys, it should be complimentary these days!

I love the heavenly bed, the heavenly bath and the heavenly treatment at the Westin downtown. Stayed there for a week when i first moved here, and it was fantastic! Everyone was so polite and helpful. The valet didn't blink an eye at my old jeep, even when he had to run up and down the block a couple times to ask me how to turn off the alarm that was freaking out. (put the key in the tailgate...don't ask me why?!) It was great. Close to everything. Try the breakfast bagel across the street...YUM!

I like: The small lobby, 24 hour doormen, but most of all the rooms are king here. My corner room had a giant glassed in shower with two showerheads. The gym isn't great. If you are looking for a nice place to crash close to Pioneer Square this is your spot.

Heavenly Bed is seriously heavenly. We enjoyed the tub AND the double shower heads, also heavenly. Very friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location to walk everywhere. And very reasonable price for all that value. Westin is always our choice when we visit Portland.

The best location with the most comfortable rooms and beds!

Even without a hot tub or pool, the Westin, Portland had an exceptional fitness room, a luxurious "heavenly bed", wonderful staff, and a perfect location right in downtown Portland. However, I reccomend you get a suite if staying in the hotel for four days or more, or if you are going to be spending a lot of time in it. Average room was not exeptionally large.

$170.00 for a closet sized room on new years eve.The heater sounded like actual fingernails on a chalkboard whenever it turned on.However the staff was excellent and friendly.First rate fitness room
