Stay at Cocoa Beach Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/09
I have been an owner at the Resort since pre-construction. I have never had anyone act so rude as the MAnager, Carol. on our number of people staying. I did not know that you couldnt have two little kids more than 6. I thought the 6 was saying 6 adults comfortably slept there. Even though the place is very large and nice and i have not ever had a problem before. As we checked in this year we got no help or consideration that we didnt know that eight couldnt stay there. and we only had 4 adults which i think is ridiculous when i mentioned it was just two little kids .Carol hatefully said "They are HUman" which i didnt think she was acting at the time. In a case like that when we had driven 12 hrs i would think one might try to accomodate you as a owner and paying guest. Maybe could have been understanding and said , since you know now we will over look it this once..but NO..she said we would have to fork out another $1,200 for another condo..when you arent expecting that it is kinda hard to do. My son had to leave his kids with me and go down the road to rent another place. I really think that is poor management and very rude. I pay high maintanence fees and paid out a lot of money up front and it is getting to where you cant even get any time that u want so i wasnt happy about this situation. Other than that it was ok. But, boy dont take one too many.

Owners From The Start
By Alexx, 06/06/09
We have been timeshare owners since the start of the resort. Every year has presented new discoveries. I am currently 17 years old and was only 8 when it opened. I still look forward to my family's annual vacation. When my sister and I bring friends with us, they are always impressed and leave with good memories. I like the fact that we can get away from the beach/resort for a day and sight see (i.e. Disney, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios). Great for families with children of all ages.

We go every year
By Tom C, 09/17/07
I have taken my family there every year for the past 7 years and it's gotten better each year. One thing that we like is the staff which has been there for the last four years and they remember us from year to year I like that! The rooms are always clean and the furnishing's have been upgraded almost every year. The beach rentals are run buy Smitty who will do his best to accommodate your needs.

More than expected!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
Returned home yesterday from a great one week stay with the family. Can't wait to go back or make this my permanent move to Cocoa Beach. The Resort is deffinately a #1. From the beach to the pool area and all the activities such as the music time and amenities provided are of excellence. Thanks to my daughter and her husband for the invitation. Maria...

We never turn it down!
By Derkum, 06/02/07
My family has had the priviledge of owning timeshare through RCI, which allows us to ask for any transfer we wish, and on more than one occasion, we've chosen The Resort On Cocoa Beach. The atmosphere in the resort is warm and relaxing, almost from the minute you walk in the door. The staff have always been friendly and I've never had any problems getting assistance with any problems I have. The ammenities are well worth any expense, with a theatre, fitness room, tiki bar, tennis and basketball courts, and don't even get me started on the pool and beach services. Pros? The Resort is clean and family friendly. They also (like their sister Resort, Discovery Beach Resort) provide a towel exchange DAILY! Leave your beach towels at home, because you won't need them here! Cons? As I said, the rooms are clean, but, as someone said earlier, there are no non-smoking rooms. Although the rooms are a bit on the small side, they're not too bad. I've never had any trouble with smoke stench problems, though. Also, the restaurant has gone down hill in recent years and the wait staff does have a bad attitude. Bar's great, though! Bottom line? The Pro's definitely outweigh the Con's. If you have the chance to go here, take it.

We visited here with friends....liked it so much that we bought here! We drove up and down Cocoa Beach checking the various places out...this was BY FAR the classiest and most luxurious. A nice family location, quiet.

What's Not to Like?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/07
We've stayed three times and are now timeshare owners. Our favorite summer vacation spot. Nothing tops waking to the sound and sight of the ocean from the ample balconies on the waterfront. Cocoa Beach is a quiet, yet active beach, great for vacations and plenty of sun. And we found the Mexican Restaurant on-site to be delicious! Go and Enjoy!

Been there 5 times
By Doug, 08/20/06
My family and I (wife, daughter and son) have stayed at the Resort on Cocoa Beach 5 separate times. Once a year from 2001 to 2006 (missed 2002). We never run out of things to do. Most days are filled up with trips to the beach and trips to the pool. Cocoa Beach has plenty to keep us busy if the weather doesn't cooperate. We drive down from Toronto each year because we love this place so much!
