BEST WESTERN Splash Park Inn, Ludington

We had a 3rd floor suite with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The two grandsons were able to go to their separate bedroom and play video games or watch a movie, while we were able to watch something else in the livingroom. We had a fridge, microwave and fireplace as well as a jetted tub in our room. There is a game room, workout area, sauna, pool with waterslide, and hot tub. But, best of all is the great breakfast included. If you're traveling with kids, you can't beat the value. There are a variety of cereals, juices, danish, biscuits and gravy,waffles, fruit etc. This was our 2nd stay, but won't be our last. On the negative side, we were unable to find any elevators. Wasn't a big deal for us, but could be for others.

This hotel is well placed. The rooms are clean and the pool is great for the kids. Breakfast is OK - not as good as other places such as Hampton Inn's, but ok. My main complaints are: 1, the smell of chlorine from the pool and hot tub is overpowering - after a while it makes you feel sick and you can't escape it because the pool is smack bang in the middle of the hotel in an open area. So if possible keep you room windows open. 2. room cleaning was very average - half hearted attempt to make the bed (My 5 year old does a better job). 3. the biggest complaint was that one of my kids jackets was stolen from the room. It was brand new - we had just bought it and she never got to wear it (and it was expensive!). We went and put it in the room, went out for lunch, came back at about 5pm to get it (because it was now cold outside) and it was gone. The room had been cleaned (?) by housekeeping while we were out. Despite numerous attempts for an explaination from management - nothing. We are still waiting on a return phone call. Poor service. Would suggest trying another place in town,

Loved everything about this hotel except for the fact there was no elevator.

The hotel itself was very nice! The rooms were very well cleaned and prepared. The problem I had was that I had left my cell phone charger there. I called multiple times and each time they got my name and number and simply said they would have to talk to the cleaning staff. I never recieved a phone call back. I warn that if you do decided to stay here make sure you get everything, because you WILL NOT recieve it back!!

The kids and the adults had a great time on the water slide. The location is very convenient for getting off and on the highway and not far from the beach.

Our stay at the Super 8 in Ludington was much nicer than I expected. The hotel was very updated with the amenities typically found in a more upscale hotel chain. The hotel has a beautiful indoor pool with a water slide. The rooms were clean and updated. We will definitely be back!

They have a beautiful indoor swimming pool, with suites that over look it, and the lobby. The rooms are very clean and the hallways are kept vaccumed. They have a small gift shop in the main lobby, and plants, a t.v., and a checkers/chess board too (in the lobby/pool area). If you get hungry, you can choose from an arey of resturants, or order a pizza in. The hotel is located near the ferry, if you don't want to drive around the lake (that's what we use it for!)
