A RIP OFF AT MICCOSUKEE RESORT
By lazaro, 11/07/09
I been visiting this place for years and I go there every friday to the Buffet is seafood night ,well the service is turning really bad they have crabs like every friday but back in a days it come cutted in slices now you have to split the leg of the crab with your hands they don't even have seafood craker to offer to the customers ,then that night I decided to play in the machines and I won a jackpock the they asked me with actitud for my social security I told them I don't have it with me I've got it at home then They told me I WOULD BE TAX THE 28 % of my winning and They refused that I COULD PICK IT UP FROM MY HOUSE , that night I made 2000.00 bucks and they gave me 1440.00 bucks that's a ripoff that reminded me the mafia times here in Miami cause when You come to the Casino they don't give you the rules they don't have a sign to let you know about it they just push you to go to the cashier ,How about if I wanna cash out my ticket sometime later no way amigo they give me the money with no smile on their faces like mafia did in the 50 th when they missed a good deal ,what piss me off is the amount of money they are making every day for the bad service they offered ,also the way they treat their workers so they transfer that actitud to the customers I'm not planning to go there anymore .

Avoid This Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/09
I had the misfortune to make a brief stop at this casino and was stunned by the dishonesty of this operation. I am not naive and understand that casinos are intended to make money for the owners. I was intending to spend a few hours there, leave a few bucks for the entertainement value and move on. However I was amazed by what happened while playing one of their poker slot machines. I noticed that it was deleting my winnings. I called over the floor manager and had them play back the history on the machine. It clearly showed that the machine was cancelling out the amount I had won. They AGREED that was happening and placed the machine "Out of Service", however, they refused to pay what I had won! I couldn't believe it. I have been in many other Casino's and always found them completely honest in their gaming policy. But in this case they agreed I had won (it was only 4 or 5 dollars) as was clearly shown in the history the machine held but they REFUSED to pay up. With no explanation. THIS IS NOT AN HONEST GAMING PLACE PERIOD. DO NOT go here if you want a fair game. I suspect the error in the machine was not an accident and this was coroborated by their refusal to pay the winnings. This happened on 1/26/09 at around 11:00 in the morning.

The worst Casino I have ever been in. I can't think of anything positive about this place. Over the three nights I played their slots I was never offered a drink. The food at the buffet was at best ho hum. The smoke in the casino was horrible. When first checking this place out on line I was given the impression they had a golf course near by. NOT!

A Pleasure To Visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/07
The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The rooms were clean & ready upon arrival(early) for our group of 30. The hotel really has a nice system delivering & picking up the luggage. Also it was nice to have everyone located on the same floor. The buffet was good also. The location is good for travel to Key West & other Miami tours. Most of us were not use to the type of slot machines offered, so we did not spend much time in the casino.

Will never go back!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/17/06
The rooms were very small. The casino was filled with cigarette smoke, you could barely stand there for more than a minute. Some of the casino machines were very old and money got stuck in it, security did nothing to help. The staff wasn't friendly at all, very rude and unprofessional. I losted a watch and security wasn't friendly or helpful at all. The food was awful, the breakfast made me sick. A very awful experience.

Okay for a base to the Everglades
By don d, 01/23/06
Arrived 6pm only 1 desk clerk on. Stated other clerk called out, and no replacement called in. Buffet for breakfast and supper, standard fare, but okay for money spent. Free coffee and soda all day downstairs near the casino. Shark Tram trail, awesome way to see the Everglades, and this hotel is closest to that.

I like the smoke there! Micsoukee should have bartenders everywhere!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/05
I wish everyone there spoke english. This is a large Latino community and all white people must go north (i guess) The motel fare is more than neutral. There is a nice view of the drunks in the parking lot.
